Exactly as advertised. The writing is simple to follow and provides an overview of what SD IRAs are, some of the requirements, and an introduction to key terminology and concepts. I recommend this book as an excellent starting point.

As advertised, this book is written in plain English and was surprisingly enjoyable to read. The author knows his stuff and doesn't waste words. Very engaging and very informative.

Very generic, vague information that can be easily found online. The book is very short (65 pages) and light on facts. Not really as helpful as other books on the subject.

I just started this book, but it is well written. The print is the right size for me. I liked how they answered the question on why are people self directing.

What a waste. I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely can't understand how this book could get any GOOD reviews! It's very slim, poorly written, exceptionally superficial, and offers no actionable advice on self directed IRAs. Did I mention it was bound so poorly the pages fell out as I turned them? A complete waste. Returned it.

Everyone that is interested in learning about sd IRAs should read this book. It covered quite a few options for these types of retirements
