Makes separating the skin on fish a breeze. The angled blade is a nice feature which makes easier to position under the food and keep your hand away from the hot pan. This product is well made with just the right amount of blade stiffness and the wooden handle fits in your hand comfortably and should last a long time. I like that the wood was riveted so the handle won't separate over time like other designs. Though she had no problem with the handle, I would have preferred one a little longer. Not a big deal though so I still gave it 5 stars for easy to hold. She loved it so much she asked me to buy her a second one!
