Great item, works great

We should have better understood the A1C process and expectations. Good product but we did not full understand the process.

Arrived in appropriate time. This kit is easy to use & very reliable.

Although A1C self-check test kits render non-precise results, the values returned are easily obtained and can be used as a monitoring guide to help users in their quest to achieve blood sugar control. The convenience factor is paramount, and repeated trials conducted at several month intervals, will give the user valuable feedback, which will prevent inordinate surprises at lab checkup time. I believe the costs are acceptable, and accuracy of results is reasonable, giving an end-product that overarches daily spot blood glucose checks, which may be highly variable and reflect many factors beyond tight control.

I ordered one that did not come with two collectors in the kit and instead had three finger sticks. The next one I got an error message and it did not give me an A1C reading, so one test of about $20 down the drain. Bad product design.

This test is very accurate and I love working with the vendor if there are issues. Will continue to use to monitor my A1C.

In the "SELDOM BOUGHT TOGETHER" area showing the A1C Now and the Cardio Check Starter Refill Cholesterol Kit I was under the impression that the cardio set could be used with the A1C meter. To use the cardio set you must purchase the cardio meter https://www.amazon.com/CardioChek-Portable-Blood-System-machine/dp/B00168L16M/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1513015694&sr=8-2&keywords=cardio+meter for $76.58. The A1C meter can be used only twice then thrown away and cannot be used with the cholesterol kit. The "Seldom Bought Together ad is deceptive.

This allowed me and my husband to check on the progress we made with our new whole food plant based diet. My husband's insurance and mine would not allow additional A1C testing beyond once a year. This is a great idea and affordable too.
