This kettle is absolutely brilliant. It looks really stylish, it's sturdy and seems really well made. The cap opening mechanism is very positive and pleasing to use, and the whistle is piercingly loud and can be heard at some distance! A great buy, would recommend it to anyone considering purchase.

Handle does get hot if you leave the kettle on the boil for a while, but if you use it when it has just boiled its fine. Also after the whistle has sounded I have let it boil for around 30 seconds with the whistle cap open. I have found if you don't do this then you may get a bit of scum from the water in your cuppa. This may depend on which type of water you have. Thanks.

Nice kettle, looks smart, boils quickly but when you open the spout for pouring it spits a little so can give you small scold if you’re not careful.

We have a gas hob and so I’ve had a few kettles in the past but this is by far the best I’ve had, it’s sturdy, lightweight, beautiful to look at and the spring whistle spout is nice and firm. 10/10

Really nice...economical and stylish...Great buy

Looks classy. Decided to get a kettle in place of electric one because our smart metre was on red when it was used. This however, is more economical in my opinion. It is easy to use, lightweight and looks classy.
