Bought these for my grandsons (ages 3 and 6) to make for their Mom. They had fun decorating them. For easy to make. You have to make sure you let the cement set before imprinting the hand or it will fill back in.

My two and six year old spent an afternoon making two stepping stones for their grandma. For the price I don't know if it was worth it, but it did keep them occupied for quite a while (which is my goal).I should have been more diligent while mixing the cement, so make sure to follow the directions thoroughly. After drying, our stepping stones had some cracks. So just follow the directions like a reasonable adult should do, and you'll be just fine.

Smaller the ones I've bought previously but worked for the purpose of getting my 2 year olds foot print. It did get a bunch of cracks when it dried which the one I bought last year did not.I liked the plastic sequins/decorations

A sad waste of money. I’ve made plenty of these stepping stones before; they’re fairly easy to make. I followed the instructions to an exact. The instructions say to add 200-240ml of water so I started with 200. I mixed it very well. It was quite watery so I had to let it sit for almost an hour until it was hardened enough to be able to hold an impression. I noticed the water was separating from the wet cement on the top, so I had to mix it back in. After 10 mins or so the water began to separate again. The cement was firm enough to make an impression so I had my children place their hands in it. The water kept rushing into the impression and slowly flattening it out, so we had to keep making the impression several times, and even using toilet paper to gently dab out the water from the top. Once I felt like it was ready to let it dry, we placed it in a high shelf where it wouldn’t be disturbed. After about 6 hours, I go to check on it and discover it had cracked into 4 pieces!! It was completely in disturbed. I suppose it expanded? Anyways, waste of money. I will be returning this product and buying something else from Lowe’s and redoing our project.

I buy these stepping stones for my grand children. Their mother does all the work, as the children are too young to participate, unless she puts their hand or foot prints on them. She also puts the child’s name on them.Cute for her mommy garden. So far, they have held up.

Wonderful kids craft… This was so less messy than the normal concrete and easy for younger kids to use. Our grandchildren loved creating them and putting them in the garden.
