This is the best book on what is the cause of why your pet has the disease that it has and what you can do to improve its health and life what you should feed your dog and how to prepare it . Love Love this book if you have common sense you will figure out the portions. 50% to 50% how hard is that. The author will tell you what foods and veg and fruit to use. If you spent the money then read this book .

When our Elliott was diagnosed with diabetes, it was the first time with all our past dogs we have dealt with this. We ordered several books to educate ourselves, but both my husband and I found this to be the most helpful. You will probably have to order it used, if you want it, but it is worthwhile. Cushing and pancreatic are also covered.

Great easy to follow information, saved my diabetic dogs life. With the help of these guidelines, my diabetic dog with cushiness survived 10 fun years with us.

Very helpful in caring for a diabetic dog. When I first purchased this book, several years ago, there wasn't very much information out there on diabetic pets.

Learned so much from this book.....very informative....you will think twice about what you feed your dog

This book is very helpful about how to deal with special needs dogs and understanding how they got that way. I have a SARD's dog and am working with the author on a protocol to treat him now. She is so incredibly helpful. She has talked to my vet for me and emailed me so much material about what I can do for him. I also bought Living With Your Blind Dog. Both are very informative in their own way.

This is the 2nd copy of this book I've purchased. I can't keep it in my library because it is always out on loan to someone. It provides such good information to help people understand these diseases and how to handle them. This copy is going in our "Rescue" library so that it is available to anyone who adopts from us. (Westie Rescue) A must for any dog owner.

Not really what I was expecting, no recipes and too much information. Not worth it for me and the book is too expensive
