Treasure Marker – Soapstone Fabric Marker with 6 Refills – Marks Easily Rub or Wash Off – Sharpen with a Pencil Sharpener

I ordered this item because it had a pen type holder and you can also sharpen the soap stone. It easily marks fabric (canvas weight) and I also use this on metal fabrication projects. Shipment was quick. Product quality and value is better than I expected. I will reorder this product in the future.

After watching a few YouTube videos at Sailrite.com, I noticed they were using a similar product. I am a novice at best and had been using fabric pencils to mark out. This product works so much better on the awning materials I have been working with. With soapstone it easily rubs away, more so than some of the pencils I had been using. Best thing is you just sharpen with any pencil sharpener, although I have designated one just for these soapstone markers. Great product, fast shipping and received as described. Thanks!

As you can see all of the soapstone is broken and the no soapstone marker arrived with it. I didn't notice it until after the date of return as I didn't need it until now. I am going to contact the company and see if they will make this right. I will write an update as soon as I hear back from them.Update: I found out that product had been sent from amazon warehouse so the fault of missing and damaged product lies with them. Cottage Mills sent me the product from their warehouse and it arrived perfectly as seen in the 2nd picture. I have changed my review from 1 star to four. The marker works great.

Best soapstone pen I’ve used. Smooth and comes off easily. I use it to make line guides on dark paper for art signs. Light lines come off easily with your finer and darker lines with an eraser. Doesn’t leave any residue.

This pencil will work for my needs, but I only received 5 refills, not 6 as advertised. Also, the pen cap has a very gross smell - hopefully, that fades over time.

One star is the lowest I can go. If I could give a zero, then it would have been a ZERO. Even though the company claims to have been in business for some time now, the product does not show it. You get what you pay for. One of the refills arrived broken. I tried many different fabrics, and would not mark on any. Well a very, very, very light tint of a marking and hard to see. If you barley rub the marking, it is gone! However, it does mark on wood and ABS plastic, Because of my other hobby (woodworking), I will give them soapstone maker a chance there.But as far as marking on fabrics.., forget about it. go look for something better elsewhere.I do not recommend this product at all.

These leads Are used to mark patterns and fabric in my selling business. I like them except they’re very sensitive if you drop it on the floor you lose the lead it breaks off completely so you wasted a lot of the leads if you if they roll off the floor in are used to Mark Patterns and fabric in my selling business. I like them except they’re very sensitive if you drop it on the floor you’ll lose the lid it breaks off completely so you waste a lot of the lids if you if they roll off the Cutting table onto the floor. When I bought the pencil it was sharpened and now I can’t find a pencil sharpener to get the same kind of tip I wish somebody would steal one that goes with the lid
