Attaching the cord
The lens cover works fine. However, if you tie the included cord around edge of the cover the way it is shown, it interferes between the lens and the cover. Instead, I suggest tying a large figure-eight knot in the end of the cord as shown.UPDATE: The included cord is quite slippery. When I tied a loop around the the camera to retain the cap, the knot kept coming undone. As a result, I lost the cap several times. As a former Boy Scout, I was able to try a number of different knots (bowline, two half-hitches, etc). Nothing worked. I suggest replacing the cord.
