Excellent series of movies

What can you say - Tom Selleck as a hero in three classic westerns. In the first, ‘Crossfire Trail’, he plays a man honouring the wishes of a dead friend but for me, it’s the meeting of two great tv sleuths that does it for me. Magnum (Selleck) and Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Harmon plays a villain in this one and does a sterling job at it too. The second film, ‘Last Stand at Sabre River’, Selleck plays a Vera of the American civil war intent on settling down with his family. However, David Carradine has other ideas. The third of the selection, ‘Mote Walsh’, he plays a cowboy rebelling against a way of life that is quickly disappearing as a new century approaches.

As a great fan of Tom Selleck I really wanted the Monte Walsh DVD. Unfortunately I could only get it as a set of 3 DVD's from the USA which is region 1. I also bought an additional multiregion DVD player to watch them with. The DVD's took a little time to arrive from the States but I had been notified of this so was expecting it. It was worth the wait.

For anyone who is a western fan, this is a must. Three of the best westerns I have seen in a long time all in one DVD case, nearly six hours of excellent entertainment, all for just over £10 and it arrived from the US in a week.
