Very happy with the Hotpoint oven looks amazing Good quality at a good price

Had to replace an old Hotpoint and this did not disappoint. It has ample space. We have used some of functions and they seem to work well. This oven will get you interested in food and in cooking again, because the food comes out great and in good time.The slight downside is the cleaning mode. We cooked some cake and there was slight dirt left at the bottom of the oven. Tried to clean it by hand, but that didn't work, so ran the shorter of the x2 cleaning modes (takes about 1:20mins). The longer mode takes over 2hrs. It didn't take off much, or any of the dirt really. So, I've tried getting some non-chemical oven cleaner (Astonish) and that didn't work either. I may need to get a proper cleaner and/or run to longer cleaning mode.Unable to comment on the spit roast yet either as not used it.This has a plug in the back, so no need for paying an electrician, just plug it in.

Great oven at a decent price it is fitted with a plug, but mine was hard wired. I like the pre heat function and it seems to cook very well. It has pyrolytic cleaning if needed and the door is quadruple glazed. Once you get used to the function's it's easy to use.

Brilliant oven. It does take a while to work out how to switch between oven modes or even which setting to use but you soon get used to it. The rotisserie setting is great to roast a chicken but bear in mind it uses pretty much the whole oven. Very quiet and smart looking with just the one dial/switch. Its a shame that the switch cant be popped in when not in use tho

This is a good oven. It was selected due to being reasonably priced, having a simple plug in install, and pyrolytic cleaning. It also has no controls or temperature settings printed on metal surfaces. The old one had almost none left due to gentle cleaning over the years.It also has a proving setting among others which was a pleasant surprise.Down side is those many useful settings are not completely obvious without the manual and a bit fiddly.The easy timing is great because you can set it up and walk away without worrying about forgetting and it being crispy and burnt.

This oven was so easy to install! Just plug in and use! It’s easy to use and very quiet! And it looks modern and sleek! Love it!

The oven seems well made, with excellent features. However, I was misled by the "10 year parts warranty". You only get free part replacement if you pay Hotpoint £144 for their technician to fit the part! I'm sure my local man will be cheaper, but I don't expect any breakdowns.
