Charming and precocious book
This is a charming and precocious novel by an 8 year old. If you are looking for a beach read, it should be a short trip to the beach because this is very short. Considering the age of the author (and this is a second book) this is a nicely written book. I hope to see this author continue to grow into an accomplished and published author in the future, but I am glad that I supported this work at such an early stage.

Really good book!
I loved the first and third stories the very best . The first one blew me away and so did the last one . The middle story was a good but not great . I still recommend this book and don't understand why there are so many poor ratings . James Patterson is still one of the best mystery writers alive . I recommend this book . You won't regret buying it

Strong 2, weak 3rd
The first book was good. The 2nd was great. I wish it were longer and more drawn out. Classic storytelling. The 3rd was a giant turd. It had potential but never came close to reaching it.

My mother is 92 and she listens to audiobooks all day long that I get from the library
So she’s listened to all of his books and she said this one is very good as well. It did not disappoint.

Could have done more
Good stories t but 3rd book could have been longer. Would like to explore what happens next and left a lot on the table. Or was that done to set up a continuation.

The story is captivating with its thrilling
I recently read The House Next Door by James Patterson and I absolutely loved it! The story is captivating with its thrilling twists and turns, and the characters are so well-developed that I felt like I was right there with them. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I couldn't put the book down! The suspense and mystery kept me guessing until the very end. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting and thrilling read. It's definitely a five-star book!

A mixed bag, with two good stories
There's three stories, with three different co-authors, in this one volume. The first two are interesting tales, with a focus on romance (perhaps more so than other Patterson books). I enjoyed reading each of them. The third story is more sci-fi than anything, with misuse of technical terms such as "quantum" and a rather weak overall narrative. It is a change of domain for the author, and was not as good as the other two stories. A mixed bag, and I suspect a change of pace that some readers will like, some not.
