Buy it - this really works - the cost is worth it
I bought this for my 6 year old boy and he was dry within 2 weeks and a year later is fine. I then used it for my 9 year old daughter who has epilepsy and is on meds that really knock her out at night, she was in pj pants and More often than not they were completely sodden plus a wet bed as well - so I didn't hold out much hope! However after 6 nights of using this alarm, she is dry! The 1st 3 nights were tiring, we were up 4-5 times as she was wetting the pants so often, she was getting very tired (as was I!) and started having fits in the mornings as a result so was tempted to give up. the 4th night (with use of stickers to encourage her to get up to the toilet herself) she was up twice and did it all herself. The 5th night she woke up herself without the alarm reminding her to go to the toilet and the 6th night she woke up twice herself again without the alarm reminding her and was completely dry! It is amazing that this system has worked so fast for her - she is thrilled! It is worth buying spare pants as just 2 pairs would not have seen us through the night. Don't bother buying parent alarm as a baby monitor does the same job. Don't worry if the alarm doesn't wake your child at 1st, it took a couple of nights for my daughters' brain to react to the sound Leave a night light on so they don't sleep so heavily and wake more readily to the alarm Don't restrict drinks before bed and don't wake your child to toilet them ( your child's brain has to wake them up when bladder is full in order for this to work) I gave my daughter stickers for getting up to go to the toilet (not for being dry) We are thrilled with this alarm and like it because it doesn't have any wires to worry about and the sensor is not at intrusive like some other systems where the sensor has to go inside underwear. It really does work so please don't worry about the the expense as I did, it is definitely worth it.

This really worked for us
My 6 year old daughter just didn't wake up for the toilet. we thought we had tried everything. Not drinking after 5pm, waking her up several times in the night but each attempt failed and she would still have several accidents during the night. I had heard about bedwetting alarms before but my daughter is not very brave and very shy and doesn't like things she doesn't know I was reluctant to get one. We looked at all the different options but went for this one because its wireless and she wore pants so very little change in her night time routine. I made sure she was involved all the way. She saw it on the website and opened the box when it arrived and tried it all out so you knew what was happening. She picked the tone, volume and even synced the connecter to the speaker. We started this on a Friday night so I could sleep on her floor so she wasn't scared and here is what happened. Night 1: Alarm woke her up she had no idea what was going on but I was there to tell her what to do - This happened twice in the night but the bed sheets remained dry (the pants are really absorbent) Night 2: Alarm went off and as I was waking up I caught sight of her heading to the toilet. Night 3: First night on her own. We left her room and my room doors open and it was same as 2nd night Alarm woke her up. Night 4 to now: No alarm and no accidents she sleeps straight through. When I go to bed if I hear her rolling around I will get her up to use the toilet but other than that she goes straight through without waking up and no accidents. I still cant believe this worked. The sticker system that comes with it worked well but I made her put ticks on the calendar against each date. 1 tick for dry night and alarm woke her up, 2 ticks for dry night and alarm not going off, 3 ticks for dry night, no alarm and no bed wetting mat & 4 ticks for dry night using ordinary pants. I didn't push her to go to ordinary pants. She got up one morning and said Daddy I really want 4 ticks on the calendar can we try normal pants tonight. I am amazed that in 3 nights she went from having 3-4 accidents a night to none. She really wanted to have dry nights and not wanting the alarm to go off has really focused her mind. I wish I had bought these sooner rather than the frustration of the last 12 months. My daughter is so happy that now she is dry she can get the bunk bed I promised her all them months ago for when she was dry. I understand these wont work for everyone but for me it worked because my daughter really wanted dry nights and she was willing to try it. It wasn't her fault she didn't wake up but with making her involved in every step meant she wasn't frightened with any stage of this process. I definitely recommend this product.

This is a brilliant product!
Like every frustrated parent of a bed wetting child I've spent the past 2 years buying bed mats, trying night pants and washing bed sheets very morning. She was briefly dry at night when she was 3, then a minor incident at nursery, set her back and she started wetting the bed again. Since then it's been pretty constant with the odd day and even the odd week of dryness, but in the last year there's been no break at all! She is now 5yrs old and about to turn 6 in a couple of months. I read several articles and even followed a method described in a book, twice, giving it a month to work each time, with no success at all. In fact the book was against using alarms, so it put me off them. Then a couple of weeks ago I decided I needed to do something, so I read a bit more and with the help of my husband we stumbled onto this alarm, I was a bit sceptical and worried about spending so much money incase it didn't work but my husband wanted to give it a go, so I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived within a couple of days, on a friday, and as we were eager to try it we started straight away. The first night she wet both pants and the bed as well. She didn't want to wear it the following couple of nights and was almost in tears, because she didn't want to have to get up, but I insisted. The second night she only wet twice and to cut a long story short she continued to improve throughout the week not weeing as aften each night and either getting up as soon the alarm went off or getting up herself. By the following saturday night she slept right through and had her first completely dry night. She hasn't wet it since and is now looking forward to her first sleepover. I am so ectastic I can't believe after all this time and money spent on bedmats etc its only taken 1 week! If you have a similar story and are considering, please give it a try!
