Cold application method  1.Place the pack in the freezer for easy usage  2.You need to freeze the pack for 2 hours to make it work  Microwave method  Because microwave ovens vary in power,you will need to find/determine the correct heating time for your microwave oven carefully. 1.Place the gel pad in the microwave oven and make sure the gel pad is flat and evenly distributed. 2.Heat the gel pads for 10 seconds and test it every 10 seconds until you can feel that temperature is good. 3.write down the perfect heating time for your own microwave oven. 4.Do the same process if you want to use it again.To make it warm,heat the pack directly. Conforming gel packs that stay flexible and can be hot or cold!
These gel packs are better than the bead packs I have because they conform better to my body. I needed a cold one and put it in the freezer and used it on my neck when I had a headache. This fit snugly around my neck so I got good cooling all around my neck. These can also be used hot like a heat pack. The instructions for heating and cooling them is right on the packaging. This kit also comes with a thin non-woven fabric pouch that you can put the gel pack into so that it isn't right on your skin, which when is too cold can cause frostbite type issues. Overall these are better than my other bead packs and can be both hot and cold, which is a definite plus!

Great for elbows and knees
This gel ice pack is excellent for areas you bend alot like your elbow or knee because it goes into a sleeve and wraps around your arm or leg, velcroing shut. It definitely works great and helps with my severe arthritis pain. I do have one complaint though - it just does not seem to stay cold for very long so I constantly have to freeze it and wait some more. Perhaps if I got another one, I could alternate and it would not be so bad.

These remind me of the ice packs I use to use in high school. It is a two pack so they are roughly 5 each which isn't a bad price considering. The ice packs can be used for both cold and heat. They are the perfect size as well for putting them in the side door of the fridge. Great replacement for ice. Something I can leave in the fridge and forget about without having to worry about it leaking if I tip it over.
