This is very easy for the beginner. I’ve never used tie-dye before but this is definitely worth buying. It works great on cotton. I’ll definitely recommend this brand for anyone looking for a long lasting dye solution even after two washings it’s not fading.

This was a fun craft. However, it was a bit messy, even though it came in spray bottles. I highly recommend bringing baby wipes, or having another bucket of water on hand and a tarp to wash hands off if you are using this product, make sure that the spray head is screwed Or it will leak on your hands. The shirts came out great. I like that. It comes in primary colors because you can make all the colors as long as your students know color I washed my T-shirt that I made with this tie-dye kit multiple times and the color still look great. I think that this is a good quality product, the colors have stayed bright. Make sure you follow the instructions on the box so that the colors will set. I did not want to wait for all of the campers T-shirts to dry and it began to rain as we had them on a clothesline so we took them off the clothesline and went ahead and threw them in the dryer, this did not affect in a negative way. In fact it saved us time.

The spray bottles are a nice size for the price. What I didn’t like was how the bottles functioned. The red spay started to drip instead of spray and the yellow started to drip from the spray nozzle also. It did help to wipe the spray nozzle dry and try to hold in an upright position to prevent the drip. All in all it was fun project to do with my grand babies and they had a blast! Oh and the spray washes off your hands easily with mild soap and water!
