Neutrogena Intense Gel Eyeliner, Jet Black, 0.004 oz

I switched to this eyeliner after wearing liquid eyeliner waterproof for years and I'll tell you why. I am a 54-year-old woman who always use liquid eyeliner but as we age, we tend to get little teeny wrinkles underneath our eyes oh joy the liquid was actually getting in the creases so I decided to buy this Neutrogena gel eyeliner and let me tell you it is a game changer! I love it and I have it on subscription now. The only warning I would make is that it breaks easy so don't press too hard and don't roll it out too long. Otherwise this is waterproof and it works for my never-ending watery eyes.

It's the best out of all the other ones I tried. Stays put, no smudges, easy to use, and doesn't bother my eyes. I would like to try other colors.

Update June 2026: Everything I said below is still true, when this eyeliner comes fresh. However, I've canceled my subscription. It's like when you order one off, it's fine. However when you order by subscription it seems that they are sending old stock or something. I've gotten several sticks now that are so dry and one that was completely, completely unusable. Wouldn't even mark at all. The other dry ones just drug across my eyelids... I still love this eyeliner when it works but it does run out fast and it does break easily. So only put a little bit out at a time. I've tried several others to see if I can find a substitute. The closest is L'Oreal Infallible. I still like this one better when it's fresh. I love this eyeliner! Now that my eyes are "of a certain age" my previous liner was sometimes getting caught on wrinkles. This glides on beautifully and stays all day! My one complaint is the small amount you get - it runs out really quickly!

This is a great gel eyeliner. It goes on smooth. I would totally recommend buying it. I have allergies and have no issues with it.

I really like this eyeliner, but unfortunately, the quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes you get one that is fresh, soft, and glides smoothly across the eyelid. Other times, it is very dry and keeps breaking, which makes it difficult to apply. Sometimes a lump of eyeliner ends up sitting on the eyelid instead of going on smoothly. When the eyeliner keeps breaking, you go through it very quickly, so it finishes much faster. You also end up wasting a lot of the product because it becomes difficult to use. If pieces get into your eyes, they can also cause irritation. I wish the product were consistently soft and smooth because when you get a good one, it works beautifully

Great value for the price, no eye irritation, great color, size lasts a good while, its easy to use, I just keep re-ordering!

I am a big fan of Neutrogena products but disappoint with this eyeliner , It is very thin and breaks every time i try to apply it . Not worth it.

Love! The stores don’t carry neutrogena eyeliner anymore near me, so I was happy to find this on Amazon! It doesn’t last long, but for the price I think it’s a great deal! Glides on smooth and stays all day.
