Finding a spot to ground is way easier
Sometimes it would be difficult to get my ground clamp on something but this simplifies that. Had it for a few months, one thing to note is if you weld too close to magnets it messes with the weld (from what I’ve read) and I think I might have experienced that as I was welding a small piece of 3/16. Still. No biggie though still like it a lot.

Doesn't seem to ground well.
Bought this out of being lazy and seeming like a cool idea. I don't think I'm getting a good ground at all. I don't know but, I was wondering if the bolt they include doesn't conduct well. I think it's coated. Anyways it's a cool idea and if it worked perfect I'd write a perfect review. It's possible I suck at setting up my lead too.

Talk about a solid magnet! This thing sure has some Holden power and I love the on off switch!!!

Not suitable in a production setting.
The magnet initially worked great. We use Miller 252 welders and they are used sometimes constantly for 30 minutes at a time with little time for the ground to cool. This magnetic ground can not handle this kind of use. I bought two of them and they both lost magnetism after constant use like this. In a home shop or on a smaller welder it would probably be fine but not for my application.
