Absolutely love having this along with the bimmercode app. I've been dealing with trying to upgrade my halogen low/high beams, turn signals, fogs & angel eyes with the launch scanner. I kept getting resets instead of upgrades. After 2 painstaking weeks of messing with the scanner, killing my car battery because I wasted hours on the launch, I looked up an alternative to it & found that the bimmercode app is the best way to update to LED's. Just make sure to get the adapter for your phone. The app works best on android

Works perfectly fine with Inpa/winkfp and more, sturdy quality and feels reliable I haven’t given the cd a shot kinda scared about that one lol in general though I recommend this scanner if you want to code your bmw

Works perfectly on my 2012 E81. Never had it time out or loss connection while using it. Fits the OBDII snugly which doesn't leave me worried about accidentally pulling it out. I wouldn't use the drivers included in the CD since they are pretty easy to find online. The switch works and allowed me to connect to a friends older 330i with the different cross wiring.

These are priced good but not super reliable. Sometimes they come broken so don't chase your tail if you can't get it to connect for no good reason, just return it for a new one.

Works like expected, you just have to find which switch position works for you. For me it was the far left. I didn't trust the CD, but all the tools I used are available for free online.

This device doesn't work on Windows 11. I have 40 years of tech experience on both Windows and Mac, and I couldn't get this device to install on Windows 11. If anyone else is able to get this to work, please post a review with some instructions. Thanks!

I think I bought the wrong cable. This cable does not seem to work with Techstream, even though it looks the exact same as a Techstream cable, probably because it doesn't support J2534. I can't really say whether it works for BMW or not since that isn't what I have, but it definitely doesn't work for Toyota. Also, the DIP switch is confusing and undocumented. There are four positions and nowhere does it say what any of the positions mean. Not that it matters though since I tried all four of them and they all do not seem to work for this.
