We only recently purchased this, but so far, so good. This is compatible with our MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) and charges it just fine. Price definitely better than Apple's $79.00 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter. It has the same aesthetics as the Apple product, in fact, it would be difficult to discern between the 2 had it not been for the Apple logo. Unfortunately, we can't speak to longevity since we just purchased it, but we are hoping it lasts longer than our Apple one (lasted less than 2 years). Of note, it does get hot when plugged in, so I would recommend unplugging once your laptop is fully charged.

I love my macbook but what I absolutely hate is that the chargers suck.The biggest 3 issues:1) the magnet head that plugs into the computer falls off with the slightest of touches. I mean if you look at it too long, it'll fall off.2) the plastic coating around the ends of the charger breakdown incredibly fast. I've had to buy 2 chargers from the apple store within 5 years and they are each around $80. That sucks.3) The price of the chargers, Magsafe 2 or similar are stupid expensive. $80-90 does not make sense. And when you factor how fast they wear out you realize the scam here.I needed a 3rd charger and the one I had was holding on my a thread and lots of tape. So I was going to go and sell my soul again for another charger and I decided to see what I could find 3rd party made.Did a quick Amazon search and landed here.A charger for $15?? No way, I don't believe it.It must suck right? That was my feelings.So I pulled the trigger and 2 days later my charger arrived. It was clean, looked strong and upon unwrapping it, it work perfectly.Not only did it work to replace my store bought charger... the magnet on it so tons stronger and no longer falls off my laptop.This thing is amazing and you cannot beat the quality for what you pay.If you need a charger, buy one here.Actually buy 2!

It’s just like the original charger without the logo. I had the extension cord so was an added bonus that I could use it. The fitting was nice and snug and wasn’t loose. The led lights work perfectly along with the magnets. Both sides work and didn’t matter which side I had it on.I would not trust keeping this on for long periods or unsupervised for a long period of time. At least my unit ran hot. In fact, I pulled out my instant thermometer to see how hot. My reader read 110.5*F a little warm for my liking.Overall, if you are in a pinch and need a charger and don’t want to pay the full price. I would recommend this one. Even for a backup. Just remember what you paid. It’s a bargain and does it’s job. If you are looking for a product that is exactly like Apples. This is not for you and you will be disappointed.Update - the seller had reached out and sent me a new charger. It seems it depends on what charger you get. For the seller great customer service and knowing that I’m not getting the best, I have updated to 5 stars.

Didn’t work. Received product, removed all plastic protection from cables and charger, plugged it in, and no power. Through process of elimination, determined the two cables were intact and functional, but the wall charger would not pass electrical, current to any device, including my laptop.

Product works exactly as promised. With chargers it really can’t be rated adequately until it’s proven the test of time; however, this charger seems completely legit, and adapts perfectly with the “wall plug in piece” of the original Apple charging cord, and seems to be quite sturdy. A 5/5 without a doubt, especially given the price, and will remain so, assuming it continues to perform as it has thus far. Good job.PS. For buyers:Be sure to keep the wall plug extension apparatus from your original charger, as you’ll be able to continue use of it, assuming you haven’t lost it, or it is damaged itself.. Without it, this replacement here might prove to be a lot shorter than you’re accustomed to using.

Ok so I left my Apple charger in Australia and balked when I found out how much one was to buy from Apple! Basically $100 with taxes. Knowing I would be going back to Australia and get it eventually, this seemed an excessive amount to pay for a few months. I have had this charger for a month now and it does the job just fine. Everything works - LED light, magnets, charges same amount of time. It's not the same heavy duty quality as Apples which you''ll notice as soon as you pull it out of the box because its so light, but its totally comparable for the price and its a great back up charger even if you eventually go get the Apple charger. For now I am using this and really appreciate that I didn't have to cough up a $100 for one. If you need an immediate replacement or a back up this one is still a great choice for the money. Gets warm but have not experienced it get very hot except initially when it was charging my completely dead computer. But not problems or issues since. Also it's a good light weight one for traveling. And its always good to have a back up anyway as I have learnt.

Very nice high quality charger. It comes with the charging brick and two cables - one MagSafe3 cable and one USB-C to USB-C cable, so It charges both my 2024 Macbook Air M3 as well as My Macbook Pro 2018 - wow! Highly recommend this charger versus paying for the high priced one made by Apple.
