Perfect to have on hand in the house.
A basic flashlight with adequate light for when the power goes out in a storm. I keep a couple handy throughout the house. Excellent price.

Just a flashlight, Mam, just a flashlight
This may be the little flashlight that I've been looking for for a long time. It's small (measures 6 inches in length) so it fits in the palm of my hand or my pocket. It's light weight. It's bright red so I can find it easily. There's a little protrusion coming out from the front end which keeps it from rolling off the table. There's a small opening at the end of it that allows me to attach a wrist strap. It's inexpensive. The only thing I don't like about it is that the on/off button is just a slightly raised dimple, which is hard to find in the dark.I like to have several small flashlights placed at strategic places around my house. I've purchased a lot of small flashlights over the past few years. They have all been called "tactical" flashlights, been made of some kind of metal (probably aluminum), been slightly heavy, been black, been water resistant/water proof, been zoomable, had multiple modes, been pricey, contained a battery cylinder that required 3 AAA batteries, and have eaten those batteries quickly. And, they have everyone died after a few months. (I have a kitchen drawer that looks like a small flashlight graveyard.)Really, most of us just want a flashlight that provides a good but not blinding amount of light, keeps on working, and is inexpensive. So far so good with this one. Please keep up the good work, Eveready.

It's On or Off -- I Really like this.!
I'm very happy that it runs on 2 AA batteries, that it has a single LED instead of the old bug-eyed approach. I'm very happy that it does not have a half-dozen modes you have to click through, it's either On or Off. And, it fits well in the hand. This beats the pants off all the "more advanced" flashlights I've tried and tried over the years and never failed to get frustrated with.. The more features it's got, the more things that can and will go wrong with it. It's not as bright as the Sun but, it's plenty bright enough for a general use flashlight. While I like advancement in tech, I'm tired of it coming as an agreement to deal with extra hassles with it.This flashlight gets it Very Right in my book.I hope this has been of some help to anyone considering a purchase.

Unclear/missing information of item
Pleasant non serious flashlight that has its purpose. The ON/Off switch is nice. The overall is extremely simple. It comes with AA batteries inside and at 65 lumens i feel my 55 lumen Dorcy flashlight is more powerful but as mentioned above, this flashlight has its purpose. Hmmmmm maybe the batteries are not that fresh! The packaging DOES NOT mention which batteries it takes, yet on the side of the package there is a picture of a fat battery, definitely not an AA.

Hit or Miss with the Batteries
I already had one of these babies sitting by the back door for those quick trips outside, and I found it very handy to have around. It's light and very easy to put in your back or coat pocket. The switch is a bit small, so it takes a little effort to find. But once in hand, you can feel the handy little ridge that keeps the light from rolling away, and turn it on. The beam is pretty good, with cool white light that is enough to see all around a small, not tiny yard without issue. The price was nice. So, I bought 4 more to have one in the each car. Here's where I had to take away the stars. I opened all of them at the same time, and noticed differences in the performance immediately. One was fine, as expected. Two of them were okay. The last one failed. After doing a voltage check, the batteries of the best one came in at over 1.5 volts each. The other two had batteries that were a bit over 1.35 volts. Dimmer. The last one was 0.0 volts. Dead. It's not that big a deal if you have spare AA's around. But, if you had only one light, and were counting on it, right out of the box, you could be disappointed. Once you put fresh batteries in, it's a nice, light duty light that's easy to have around.

WANT LIGHT ?
Inexpensive, functional, simple to use and basic very good light. I'm tired of the brighter bulb expensive flashlights that eat up batteries and offer far more light than I need for everyday uses. These won't do for professionals that need maximum light, but they will do find for the everyday Joe like myself.
