Connection to waste needs to be a 40mm compression fitting as, for some reason the size is not suitable for a 40mm solvent weld. It does have an integral trap so should resist smells coming into the machine. Has a cleaning point behind the stainless steel cover. Unit is on the flimsy side but should be ok. Time will tell. This is possibly a Polish make. Pity that McAlpine don't make one to their quality standards but as far as I can see this is unique on the market at present. It is a great idea for a slick installation.
