Small but lots of Space
Way smaller than I was expecting but it looks cute on my desk and it holds a decent amount I’ve aready added some documents to it and it hasn’t made much of a dent

perfect for files and pictures, 160GB
I bought this for my wife's pictures and backup for her laptop. She takes regular pictures and some videos. She doesn't collect movies or songs because its stored on her itunes/icloud account. 160gb is more than enough for simple picture/video/files (documents- school). just in case she breaks her laptop or phone. she has everything backed up just in case. the file transfer speed is very good. It did not take that long. I like the light that turns on when it is transferring files. The feel of the plastic is not cheap but it can be stronger. I dont feel confident in the external hard drive if i drop it on the floor. Not sure if it will take a fall without a crack or being broken.

Did not work, just buy a better 1TB drive instead
Tried several times to put my wedding photos on it, transfer speeds slowed to a crawl and then stopped altogether (USB 3.0). I left it overnight thinking maybe it was just slow but it was just frozen and froze my computer too. Reformatting did not help. I bought this because 1TB is way more capacity than I needed, but I ended up buying one anyway from a more reliable company as a replacement.

It worked great, until it didn't
I bought the 320gb version (not currently available) of this external hard drive last August and have used it to go back and forth between the office an home. I plugged it in yesterday and my laptop isn't recognizing it. Today I plugged it into a desktop, trying to determine if the problem was the hard drive or the computer. It's the hard drive. If you buy it, invest in the data recovery plan. That would have been cheaper than having projects I can't access and now have to recreate.

Trusty little external HD
This is a good little external HD. It doesn't feel well protected in its case but I don't have a problem with this as I keep it in a bag and rarely have it out except for at home. Good price for the storage size given and decently fast data exchange.
