Probably work quite well but Dremel made the casings now so you cant replace these with out opening the whole casing of the tool, once opened the gubbins on the inside seem attached to both shells so the guts of the machine string out like pulling open a cheese toasty, strewing bits of dremel innards all over the place, pop them back in switch on and watch your new dremel die in agony while you doubt your purchase choices

Purchased for a dremel 4000, slightly oversized causing the bushes to stick but a very light once over with fine wet n dry sorted the problem out
