Amazing unit
Super beefy! Maybe even a little more so than I expected. Not a problem, just rest assured it will protect anything you put in there. It’s a good size. Lots of room. Nice latch. Nice materials great fit and finish. Amazing product. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Solid, well made cases. I mounted them on brackets to use on my motorcycle. A great size and easy to open, close and lock. Perfect for what I needed and not real expensive for the quality.

Easily fits over 1000 rounds of 5.56 in boxes
The lock hasps are bigger than 5/16", meaning my medium-duty PacLock UCS-2A locks fit without hassle. The container is sturdy, handle is built well, and the spring-loaded latch is easy to use. Easily holds more than 1000 rounds of Winchester 5.56 in boxes, I estimate it could hold about 1600 rounds if you filled it up with boxes. Loose, it could probably do close to 2000. I filled it about 2/3 of the way with 1000 rounds, and it can definitely hold more. bought two, and I'll be using them whenever I go to the range!

Great product as always from Pelican.
Although it took me a while to get this as it was during that major winter storm (2 weeks) i got 2/3 of my boxes and am putting them to good use. Although its not what it was designed for im using these as a medical box, flashlight box, and my 3rd i was going to use for batteries. I have many smaller pelican boxes which are air tight and sturdy so wanted something bigger for other things. No i dont own a gun, yes i know its an ammo box lol. My biggest problem would be the price, as with all pelican products the price for them is insanely high considering its all nylon/plastic. I understand they make quality products, but its a box, some of them on their site go for over $1000!
