Our beautiful lacquerware Baubles are handmade for us in Kashmir, the most beautiful part of India. Lacquerware is a traditional skill in Kashmir, the baubles are first handmade from paper mache, they are then intricately painted by hand before being coated with a layer of clear laquer which makes our baubles tough and durable. They make the most beautiful decorations and look great on the Christmas Tree! They come in either a blue and turquoise flower design or a yellow and goldleaf design, but as each baubleis handpainted each will be slightly different, this means that you have a unique piece of art! Our large baubles measure 3 inches ( 7.5 cm in diameter).
