Q: Hi i needed this wall plate but with 3 hdmi ports and one USB port, is this possible ?

We don't sell the wall plate in that configuration however each of the HDMI modules in this wall plate can be removed and replaced with a different compatible module. Therefore there are a couple of options. We stock both USB 2.0 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074MDNRJ1) and USB 3.0 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074KMJYNT) modules so you could purchase one of those along with this 4 port HDMI wall plate and you'd then have the configuration you need. Alternitively you could purchase all the components seperately - as we also sell the empty faceplate (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0771W7WRY) and HDMI modules (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074MF891N). Q: What version of hdmi are these cables?

Both the socket and fly-lead adhere and have been tested to the HDMI 2.0 specification. Therefore, they'll support a bandwidth of up to 18Gbit/s and can carry 4K Ultra HD video.

Q: Hi is there a back box for this or does it just screw to the wall

We do sell a surface mount back box for this faceplate separately - the direct link is https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0772XLFFB. It's 45mm deep and we don't recommend anything shallower as the HDMI module and cable requires quite a lot of space behind the faceplate. The faceplate is supplied with two bolts which fit all standard backboxes. Alternatively, you can use a metal pattress box which is sunk into the wall and this would give a flush finish. These can be obtained from electrical wholesalers - we'd still recommend a minimum depth of 45mm.

Q: Are there other modules like ethernet or optical audio etc that can be swapped in and out for these?

Each of the four HDMI modules are the standard 'Euro' size (25mm x 50mm) and can be swapped out with other modules - they just clip into the faceplate. We don't currently stock optical audio but we do sell on Amazon a large range of other modules which are compatible including 3.5mm jack, VGA, TV aerial, USB 3.0, F Type (satellite), telephone socket, speaker binding posts and ca5e ethernet.

Looks professional

Good item Could do with hdmi port numbers on outside do you know what gadget is connected to what port. Recommend though keeps everything tidy.

Hidden hdmi wiring

Using two of these hdmi sockets connected within a partition wall, one at high level behind the TV wall mounted chassis and one at low level connecting all devices, Game station, sky box, Apple TV and DVD you achieve no trailing or dangling cables.

Flimsy, one was delivered with scuffs

Very flimsy.The central unit's pop out really easy when the unit is fixed.Get the smaller units not this cheaply made product that's so overpriced.
