Excellent/Impressive Microwave!
We couldn't have imagined ordering this certain product online but our other one (20 yr old Kenmore) finally gave up the ghost and all the box stores had to order (at least 2 wks out). It's the best thing we took a chance on and my husband and I are so happy with the purchase so far. We rec'd it within 2 days and had we installed it the next day. Thank you Amazon for getting it to us so quickly, (with holidays going on). The installation was not the easiest but my hubby can fix and install just about anything, so...no big deal. It will take 2 people (mainly to steady it in place). We started with warming up our coffee and cooking a bag of popcorn. Worked great! The unit was so quiet and we found that a real plus. The fan has 2 speeds which was pretty loud but tolerable. The lighting over the stove was super helpful and the inside being white, let us see everything as it was working. Love the new unit and hope it lasts for a very long time. By the way...the price was super as well. We highly recommend this microwave.

Charcoal filter is 10 1/4” x 2 3/8”
It’s a microwave, it works well and wasn’t hard to mount. As others have stated the end chime isn’t that loud and there is no way to raise it but honestly it isn’t an issue, just remember you put something in the microwave. The door does sag a little but it comes off easily so you could add some small shims if it bothers you. Being able to remove the door without tools is great for cleaning, it just lifts off. If you are using the microwave in recirculate mode and want a charcoal filter the size you will need is 10 1/4” x 2 3/8”. Using a charcoal filter also helps quite the fan. The book tells you how to install the filter it just doesn’t come with one. Also this is a rebranded Midea microwave so if you ever need parts the original model number is MM019S3AST.

Nice microwave but lots of plastic parts on it
So it was what I was looking for - an over the range stainless steel microwave, the ratings looked good, reasonable price, and it works well so far, quiet and not noisy but after I installed it is when I noticed it had a lot of plastic parts on it so it isn't as solid as it looks and I think I will have to treat it carefully to be sure I don't accidentally break any parts. Bought a small magnetic handle to attach to the front so as not to put too much stress on the handle as I saw a lot of complaints about it breaking on a lot of people and didn't know why until I discovered it was plastic too.

A Very Affordable Microwave Upgrade
Deciding to buy this Black and Decker Microwave turned out to be a winner for us. For starters, it's almost exactly the same dimensions as the unit it is replacing. The existing unit has been in service for 15 years. This new unit had some significant improvements beyond just cooking food quickly. To begin, it's very quiet in use...Next...the light on the bottom illuminates our stove very brightly....The digital display is the perfect size....it has a lot of new features that the old one didn't have ....and....it's design is impressive...taking up almost the same exact space on the outside....but has much larger inside area and rotating glass plate...Txs

Love the SILENCE! Used by 20
This is a great microwave for smaller spaces. About 20+ people use it daily for lunch and beverage warm-ups, and it is located immediately adjacent to about 5 people's cubicles. We really appreciate what isn't there-constant beeps and alarms! It's great that this unit can be silenced, so people near it don't have to listen to dings and beeps all day. It is plenty big enough to handle everything we need, including full-size plates, frozen dinners, and tall items. So far no one has mentioned that they couldn't fit anything in it.I really like the touch screen. With one touch, I get a 30-second warm-up; two quick pokes gives me a minute, etc. There is no need to push "start" or any other buttons to initiate immediate cooking. Its ease of use has made me impatient with the microwave I have at home, with its unnecessary start button. It's also easy to clean, with smooth walls that are simple to wipe down. It's been the perfect microwave for our refreshment zone.

So far so good…
Combining instructions with DIY YouTube video, installation was relatively easy with help. I did try it before doing any work. Only problem was instructions saying to remove 2 screws at top near door to install filters. Nope, the 2 filters go on the bottom and slide in. No screwing around, LOL. So far it works good and easy to use.

It's a microwave. And it;s at a good price point.
I read several of my go-=to review sites and this one came up as one of the best on each and every one. As I said, it's at a reasonable price, too. I'm not a frequent microwave user. I use it to heat my leftover coffee, to bake sweet potatoes, and to heat milk for lattes. But I had surgery upcoming so needed something so my caregivers could reheat meals I had stocked in the freezer. This one met the criteria and that was that. The one thing I don't really like is the noise that EVERY microwave delivers when you open and shut the door. It's part of the design so the no harmful waves escape and I get that. But at 5:00 am and to hear that slamming door ugh it simply irritates me. There was a "QUIET" microwave cited on many of the review sites and it was a bit more money. AS I said, I only really needed it to reheat meals so I didn't;t care. But now I wish I had spent the extra whatever dollars to have one that just wasn't as loud. I'm sure it's still noisy for none of these can be silent, but oh well. That's my burden. You can choose your only.:) Anyway--it's perfectly fine, adjustable power levels, I think I made popcorn in it once. All things it's supposed to do and it does them really well. It's easy to keep clean and the profile is a bit shorter than most so it fits nicely under my overhang shelves. It has super storage area on top very even with no contours or decorative design distractions, so it has given me as much counter space back as it took away and that's a big plus in a small kitchen where I think this model was truly intended to shine.
