Protecting Hair and Skin
Silk and satin pillow cases and head wraps are weapons in the anti-aging army. Our skin and hair thins as we age, is more fragile and prone to wrinkles, tangles and breakage. I sleep fitfully and hard, so when I awaken my face has creases that resemble the map of California complete with the 405 from LA to San Fernando and my hair is a shock wave.My facialist could determine which side I slept on based on my WRINKLES! She encouraged me to purchase zippered satin pillow cases for my wrinkles and minimize hair breakage. Zippered, so the pillowcase doesn't slip off while sleeping. Yes I've purchased non-zippered ones and agree with her assessment. The slipping and sliding pillowcase interrupts my sleep and I awaken to fix it properly. Ugh... don't get a satin sheet set though, too much slipping and sliding for a good night's rest. PLUS your covers will be on the floor too! This set of zippered pillowcases, my third, is to use while travelling. My travel pillowcases are weird colored ones that stand out so I don't forget and leave them behind. Catching them on sale or as "Open Box" items at Warehouse Deals (at a decent price/CHEAP) is when I stock up. YES they do make a difference in my skin and hair condition. If you're REALLY lucky you can find these at Dollar stores. IF not zippered, some creative Velcro-ing will work...a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do to stay at the top of her game, LOL!PS All my sets purchased here had well sewn seams and no problems.

You found what you're looking for.
Soft, satin luxury. These pillowcases are a thick satin that holds up with repeated washings. I have had several sets for years now. They have a sturdy zipper so I even use one on my leg pillow because the pillowcase won't slip off like others do. If you have never slept on a satin pillowcase I can't recommend it enough. It keeps your hair from tangling and is soft and gentle on your face. However; sleep on just a few and you will know that they aren't all the same. Many of them (even more expensive ones) are thin or the zippers are flimsy, or they don't have zippers at all. But these are excellent. Truly a cut above and cheaper than most.

very soft
They are soft, but not as sturdy as I expected. The color was true to the photo on line. I'd made these pillowcase, it's much easier and cheaper to buy them.

If only I could give these zero stars...
I don't understand the positive reviews that these have gotten!!I have very fine hair, and a friend recommended getting a better pillowcase. I saw how many positive reviews these pillowcases have and decided to purchase them. Are they smooth? Yes. But the material is thick (almost to the point of being crunchy), incredibly warm/sweat-inducing, and uncomfortable to sleep on. I'm guessing that they're polyester. When I was a kid, I had a cheap Cinderella costume. I'm pretty sure that the costume used the same fabric as these pillowcases.

Restless
Pillows become too slippery. Good material for bed sheets, but not for a pillow case. Gave me restless nights. Like trying to rest your head on a puppy that keeps trying to run away.

Baby blue is pretty but not our bedroom color
I did not notice the color was blue, I must have ordered when I was tired. Baby blue is pretty but not our bedroom color. Still using and after 3 washings, they are still in great shape. Like the hidden zipper. I made satin pillow cases many years ago and for the time, cost of material, labor these are very nice and a bargain!I also bought one of this company's off white with no zipper and I like that one too!

love these
My husband and I always use satin pillowcases, no matter what sheet sets we have on the bed. These were inexpensive and they have been working out very well. They don't dry out your facial skin like regular pillowcases do, and you don't wake up with unsightly creases on your face after a deep nights sleep on a cotton pillowcase. I like that you can zip them closed, so they stay on the pillow better than ones that don't. The zipper does have a flap of fabric that folds over it, but just make sure it is facing downward. My hubby had it on the pillow the other way and the zipper cut his ear.

Keep your hair from breaking while you sleep
I am not a "tie up my hair" kind of girl. Scarves never stay on my hair. I wnated the advantage of that, so I ordered these Satin pillowcases in blue, and they look nice on my bed. My room is the requisite blue and brown, so it matches, and my pillows stay cooler, and my hair doesn't break. Perfect. They zip on, so they don't slip off the pillow forms. Love that.

Favorite For Summer
These are thick and soft. The best part is that they stay cooler than any other pillow case that I have ever used. I have had mine well over six months now and have washed them more than a few times, no issues with shrinking, wear or zippers, very happy. Also, I have one feather pillow that I love, but the feathers are sharp and scratch my face when the come through, this is the only pillow case that keep all the feathers in.

JUST ONE PILLOWCASE
As the other reviewers mentioned, when you buy this product you pay for 2 pillowcase but expect to receive just one.

Blue polyester satin pillowcase
I love these pillowcases. I have a number of the whites ones and this is my first blue. Unfortunately, I only received a single pillowcase instead of a two pack. But Amazon gave me a refund for the missing one, right away. The pillowcases are well made, and attractive and wash up well. And they are easy on your hair.
