I have used other major brand names of putty in both white and grey. I think you know who I mean...AK white putty is AMAZING! It is water soluble and great for aircraft wings, car doors and anywhere you need putty, but want to clean up with a wet q tip. BRAVO AK, your putty ROCKS!

good filler

I used this putty to fix a broken Christmas ornament. Dries very solid and is sand able. Filled in the gaps between broken pieces. Let dry for 24 hours, sand then paint. My project turned out very well and saved a vintage ornament from the trash can!

This was useless. The putty was almost hard in the tube. I could mash the tube to get some out, but it was too thick to use.

It did its job and saved the build

I was hoping it would replace my Tamiya white putty. Tamiya is great but has a strong smell. Although it does a decent job of filling gaps it's not great when being sanded. I found that it just doesn't stick to the models like Tamiya. So when I sand it, it will occasionally just fall off in small chucks. Even when I've cleaned the area, the results are the same. It is better than Vallejo putty though. Although it won't be replacing my Tamiya putty, it will replace the Vallejo putty.
