Brown flakes are NOT contamination
So when I first saw the brown flakes I thought WTF is this contamination! But before I just ASSUMED that's what those brown flakes were... I see the IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ note that came with these agar plates... It states... "Our MEA plates have a fair amount of debris in them. This debris is dried malt extract... Soooo these phots I see of the dried malt extract stating it's contamination it's NOT! Overall none of these plates have any signs of contamination, but will update in the future if they do. Would buy again.

Great product good seller
No contamination, bit pricey but again no contamination . I’m ordering my third purchase and will keep buying from them. BTW, I doubt the seller would send out contaminated product, I don’t believe the reviews stating contaminated on arrival. I know me as well as 99% of people would have taken pictures of the contame in the bags and flamed the seller. No pic’s it didn’t happen. They keep pouring them I’ll keep buying them!! Lates✌️

Be careful
They were alright but some of the plates were already contaminated when I got them. I let them sit for a few days without opening them when I got them before using them just to be sure. Just started making my own with agar powder afterwards.

their was contamination
1 agar plate was contaminated, I don't have a picture threw it away as soon as I got it , also the rest of them some dark spots .The containers are pretty light and fragile. hopefully they do better with other customers.

Pretty good
they have worked great for mycology. I did end up having three plates that were cracked but the rest worked.

Superior quality
Superior quality. NO mold growth. This is best among other brands we purchased for a science project by inoculating with Candida albacans.

Sterile unbroken, not too many bubbles.
They arrived packaged in two bags 4 compartments each holding 3 then 2. They were sterile and the agar has minimal bubbles. Good for growing specimens.
