Eye pleasing weather station
This product is more accurate than the skyScan atomic clock and temperature gauge we previously had. It looks like a wood frame and full color screens. It is smallish, but easily readable from about 6 ft.

No backlight without AC Power
I wondered how readable the color display would be w/o backlighting (which only works when you have the AC power via a cord up the wall), and ...well, it's not very readable unless very close (1 ft away). WITH the backlighting, which comes on when you tap the top of the unit, it is very readable. This makes it a 4 star rating... it's good, and if you tap the top it's readable, but .... I wish it would stay on - I would change batteries more often in exchange for backlighting, but not an option. The temp and humidity are very accurate, though.

It's ok
Doesn't have a regular plug. Has to be hung up; you can't place it on a table/shelf. Programming is a bit complicated (inHg? Huh? What's that?). You have to set the time/date, rather than the time and date setting automatically, & the day is displayed before the month. The outdoor sensor can't be hung up; it has to be set on table/shelf (where it could blow over). I returned it & went back to using an Accurite weather sensor; much easier for me to use.

Not as accurate as I expected - Colored glass
Am a bit disappointed. Put the sensor next to the to the station and got different readings for indoor vs outdoor temperature by 3 to 8 degrees. The humidity will show different readings as much as 10 points - 30% v 40%. Am running more tests but it appears accuracy is not required. You do have to let the units have time to adjust, but I'm getting these results after 48 hours. As for color, the over-layed glass has the color. And if you want to see content, you ned to press the backlight button even during the day time hours.

Pretty to look at but that’s about it
Visually pretty but functionally not very good. The unit itself feels cheap. The biggest problem is that the settings button doesn’t always work. The unit defaults to celsius when first powered on and in order to change it to farenheit, you need to access the settings menu. Unfortunately, the button that enables you to access the settings menu rarely works, requiring you to power off and power on the unit repeatedly until the button works. As far as accuracy of the temperature readings, it’s hard to say. The base unit does not update with outdoor temp readings instantly (takes a few minutes) and I noticed that the reading on the outdoor sensor didn’t always match what the base unit is displaying. The unit also did not include a usb to AC adapter (not a huge deal but if you were buying this as a gift, you need to make sure that the recipient has an adapter handy to plug this device into the wall).Unfortunately, this device is better off as a visually-appealing toy rather than an everyday weather station.

Nice, but small
I've no complaints about the quality of the unit - works and looks great. My only qualm is the size. Lets face it - older folks, such as myself, are the primary purchasers of these type of units. I want to be able to look across the room in my camper (a whopping 10 feet) and be able to read it. The LCD face on this unit is only about 4"x6", and has a lot of data on it. This makes everything pretty small. Scale the thing up and it'd be great. Until then, put it right by your easy chair, or walk over to look at it.

TINY screen with AWFUL viewing angles.
I’m not sure how this got any good reviews. The numbers are already way too small for a detailed weather station IF you could even see them from where you sit. I say this because it has about a 10° viewing angle that only works if you are looking DIRECTLY 85°-95° head on in front of it FROM ABOVE the clock. So the wall mounting holes are pointless unless you mount it lower than 4’ off the floor, because putting it on my wall above the door like a normal clock made the screen *completely blank* unless you stand directly in front of it 3’ away on your tippy toes, as shown in my photos. I wish I could find a way to like it, because it closely matches my fake wood cabinetry and I set the bar *super* low to be able to view it from 6’ away. But I can’t, and this is being returned *immediately* for a larger screen that has at minimum 30° viewing angle and the ability to be seen *at all* when I’m seated below eye level.

Directions awful
I made the mistake of buying this for looks and skipped reading reviews. Directions don't even say how to start the light that illuminates it. Now that I've read the reviews I'll return it, otherwise it will take me hours of trial and error to set up.
