Ok....I'm an artist and I have bought every marker or pen on the market for my artwork. Finally, I found my favorites. Not only does this set come with 9 pens, but there are more fine tip sizes then larger, as that is what I use the most of. I use a lot of different mediums to paint with and I have been looking for the perfect black fine tipped pens to do my detail work, that won't smear with any paints I use. Another amazing thing about these pens, if you have ever resined before, you will see that when you resin on top of your painting with these pens as details, they won't smear. Most pens do smear when you seal, use another paint, or just brush over it by accident with your hand. After all the money I have spent on detail pens, finally these are the keepers. I will continue to purchase these forever. You get what you pay for. I will forever be a customer of Copic.
