Aqua Globes - 2 Pack - Decorative Hand-Blown Glass Plant Watering Bulbs

These are not the type of globes I typically look for but these are nice to look at too. They hold water like they're supposed to and didn't break when the dog attacked the plant.

These are very pretty, decorative. Large good size. Easy to fill. Put the tap water on just a little and/or use a funnel for better results. Too tall to fill in a bathroom sink. Refill every few days, depending on the angle you insert them. As with any watering globe the water will run right out if inserted at an angle. Easy to clean if you get a long thin bottle brush (double the size of a pipe cleaner)!

They looked purple in the picture, but they are actually blue. I wanted the purple, but I guess blue works too.

Works great for watering plants for about a week when you are gone. I have many of these. Large pots may require 2-3 water globes to keep water then entire pot. I have 2 concerns:1) The tub opening varies a lot. Sometimes they are so small they are time consuming to fill, so I bought a very tiny funnel from Bed Bath and Beyond.2) After using them for a while you can get mold inside the glass ball which can't be good for the plant. If this happens use a small kitchen funnel to pour full strength bleach into the tube. Put your finger firmly over the opening and shake it. Then let it sit for a while and then shake it again. rinse thoroughly and the mold should be gone.Regardless of these issues I still use and buy them because I haven't found anything better for watering plants slowly when you are gone.

Basic water globes you can get at HD. One appeared purple in the pic but I received cobalt blue.

I saw other reviews about how some people were receiving the wrong color globes but I thought I'd risk it anyways because the colors in the product images were so pretty (they should at least put in the product description that they are random). I got a green-blue one and a turquoise one, huge disappointment because I have about 6 other watering globes that are turquoise and dark blue. In addition, the glass seems to be thinner than my other globes. I haven't noticed any breaks but they definitely seem more fragile than the standard.

I`m glad I got these.

Revived my Aqua globes today, the one had a bit of a chip at the end in the steam. My flowers will love taken the water as they need it.

Unless I read the *instructions* wrong, I don't find them effective. Maybe they need to be inserted into another tube as the get clogged with dirt.

These bulbs are big and beautiful but they get clogged easily…that being said they are also easy to clean and unclog.
