ART ADVANTAGE Palette Wood 9"x 12" with 12 Brushes Value Pack, Brown

This painters palette was purchased to be used in a stage production we are doing for our local community theater. I wanted this quickly as the play was nearing the opening day. The palette needed to be something wood and antique looking as the play takes place in the 1930's era. I was impressed by how nice this palette was. It came with some very nice brushes and the quality was excellent for the price. I am not a painter but I was impressed by how durable the palette is. It fits just perfect into the era of our play and is being used nightly for each performance. The brushes are very nice and are holding up to the abuse our actors are putting them through. I found that I want to try the brushes myself at home because they look better than the one I have bought. They are firm and hold paint well. We are so pleased with the delivery too, it came so fast and was just in time for our dress rehearsal and open night. awesome palette! some of the brushes totally suck, but for the price its worth it. the palette allows for really nice mixing of arcrylic paints....would not recomend for oil paints however as it does absorb some of the pigment and moisture

The brushes aren't great but you get what you pay for. Lots of stray bits falling out all the time. Overall, I am not disappointed by the quality since they were inexpensive, but don't expect super high quality.

This turned out to be a really nice starter kit for me and a new medium of art. I picked it up on a whim while I was trawling through my usual art supplies and thought "For that price? Why not!" Forgetting completely that I had purchased it, I received it in a confused state but thought "Well, I also got all this paint for some reason and some Canvas Panels I don't remember ordering, so why not give it a try!?" And so I did! I can tell you now that I will never be awesome with paint and brushes but it was fun and when it comes to art that's why I do it: It's fun, so I'll keep doing it and this was a good starter's space for that.

For what I needed the brushes for, these were perfect. They are not for someone that wants good brushes to use repeatedly and I would not recommend them for a serious painter. However they are the best "lower priced" brushes I have seen. There are 2 of each size and they attach to the board. I liked being able to mix my colors and have everything I needed right there. Also, the little loops where the brushes are stored are attached well and do not break. This is really worth the price

I bought this as a gift, and I think it was a great value for the price. My younger sister was the recipient of the gift and she thinks it's really awesome to have an "official" pain palette with so many different brushes to use. I'm not a professional or trained artist, and neither is she, but it's seems like decent quality. She's a ten year old kid and isn't especially delicate with things (i.e. shoves palette behind books and backpack) and it's maintained it's shape...

Bought it for my neice, she loved it. Obviously not professional grade but good for casual painters.

Why did I buy this, I don't know, but I know why you shouldn't buy it based on my mistake. 1) The wood isn't washable. Every time you use this it will stain to whatever color you used. There's no such thing as soaking, or scrubbing the stains out, because it's untreated wood. 2) It's cheap thin untreated ply wood, which makes your paints dry faster. Your paints would stay liquefied longer with a plastic palette. 3) The brushes shed uncontrollably, which results in pieces getting stuck in your painting and if it dries it's permanent unless you want to rip a hole in your picture to get stray hairs out. 4) The brushes don't wash well. When they are wet to changes colors they shed more, so they are basically one or two use brushes. 5) It doesn't have a grip to help you hold it better. It's just flat and thin. Cheaper models generally have at least a curve or grip at the bottom.

Los pinceles vienen con un tipo de pegamento raro, pero después de una lavada se le quita, no son tan buenos pero tampoco son malos y por el precio está bien, la paleta es lo que promete. Además llego tres días antes de lo esperado, gran trabajo de Amazon.
