Purchased for a large Shepard who could break his way out of any cheaper quality kennel, this one finally did the trick, was an expensive lesson to learn, could have saved a lot of money and headaches if I’d just got this kennel to begin with.

Designers of this product had one flaw when they made this kennel. No dog will pee in the place they sleep. They are born with it. If they accidentally pee they will move as far away as possible. Even stupid dogs do that. The bottom of this kennel (as seen in the pictures) has such a huge gap between the bars that my dogs toes can break so easily. My dog is 26" (feet to shoulder), and weighs 63lbs. The bottom of this kennel just needs to be all metal, no pan. Just a flat sheet. If this kennel is meant to keep an escape artist out, then the escape artist will chew on anything that it can, including bedding if layed down. Plus there should be an option to have a kennel that opens on the wide side (only option possible), OR the short side.

the first cage arrived damaged. They promptly sent a replacement that had a broken hinge. They promplty returned the second cage. BUT I am done with them because of the damage . It is a very heavy cage and unpacking it twice is enough.

Had to drill new ones. Killing my drill bit. It is too bad. The product is good otherwise.VERY DISAPPOINTED!
