Very easy to use & CLEAN.
The best air fryer I’ve had. Superior racks, with varying rack levels. Use the top levels for toasting garlic bread. Perfect every time. Use middle rack for chicken strips, veggie burgers and fries. VERY easy to clean the whole machine.

I really like this thing.
Everyone kept telling me they love their air fryer, so I wanted one. I became obsessed with finding the perfect one for me so after a month I settled on this one. First thing I made was berry crisp, threw the stuff together in a couple single serve bake dishes, set it to 350 for 40 minutes and it was perfect. No preheating, no heating the entire apartment, just perfect crisp. There were several complaints from other buyers who said there were missing pieces or their units didn't work, or initially worked and then stopped working. Mine came very well packaged, no damage, all parts included, so I have no complaints there but I understand if maybe some sellers are less thorough or trustworthy in regards to the products they provide. Some complained that it was loud. This is the most quiet kitchen appliance I have ever purchased, it makes less noise than my microwave. Also, I'm not quite sure why people complain that the drip tray isn't large enough, it's literally the same dimensions as the bottom of the unit, so any spill-over should land on the tray unless you're filling this unit over capacity somehow, not sure how that is possible. I also want to mention that although heat did radiate from the unit immediately around it, it did not heat up my kitchen and it stayed warm to the touch but it wasn't hot so despite baking for 40 minutes I was able to open the oven door with my bare hands. . . Anyway, I'm very happy, so far. This is only day one so I will come back and update. ***Update*** Sept. 25. . . 2 months after purchase: I’m still in-love with this item. No electrical issues, whatsoever. Looks like others have had theirs just outright die after working perfectly the first few days or month. Thankfully, that is not the case with mine. Others also reported the door not shutting properly or at all. This, too, has not been an issue. I’ve basically used this item every other day since it arrived. The only thing I will say is that there is definitely room for improvement. But, I’m just not picky enough to care, I am content in my complacency. For those of you who do care about such details: The temp is set in increments of 10 degrees, 5 would be better. Also, if you decide to stop cooking sooner than the time you’ve set it for, the unit never turns off like it would if the timer completed and it’s “finished.” There is no “clear” or reset button or even an on/off button, so if it bothers you that the screen doesn’t power down and displays the minutes remaining until you decide to use it again then you’re forced to just unplug the unit and plug it back in. And when the timer is done the “BEEP” is very loud and it will beep 5 times, no matter what, it will not be silenced until it has completed its beeps. But there is actually an updated model of this item so these features might be improved (although I have no idea) but it might be worth checking that newer model out if these would be issues for you. **8 month update** The plastic on the handle has cracked, but it does not interfere with the functionality and I am still in love. ** 2.5 year update, Jan 2024** Still works with consistent use!

Wish Id bought this one sooner.
Weve had a air fryer a few years and love it. We'll it was starting to break down, this was on sale and gave it a try. Oh my goodness, it works so great. So much better than basket one, it gets things so much crisper! I cooked chicken nuggets and fries and only had to do one cycle as it was big enough for 3 people what I was able to put in on 3 trays. The rotisserie function is good, however you've got to make sure you have a small enough meat, and that you secure it correctly or it doesn't work well. I was shocked how quiet it is, that is definitely a plus. It has pre sets that make cooking easier and gives an idea of how long to cook something. Option to the rotisserie function on and off by button thought that was neat. We recommend buying a 8x8 silicone mat for the bottom pan (thats removable for easy cleaning) I have 2, and I can just switch them out , wipe off anything into the trash and then wash it right up.

Not Great, Not Horrible
After years of people telling me to get an air fryer, I went Christmas shopping for myself. The reviews on many fryers were pretty good, so I broke down and landed on the Chefman 10qt. It was an excellent Black Friday deal that came with a payment plan. It had the oven door style that I preferred over a basket, came with three (3) removable, dishwasher safe wire racks and rotisserie, had several optional settings (including dehydrate), and would fit under my upper cabinets. Upon arrival I saw that the countertop footprint is relatively small. Plus! Even when pulling it away from the wall to allow for air flow while using it, the door still had room to fully open without hanging off the edge of the counter. After a couple uses it was easy to get the hang of. Personally, I preferred to use my instincts for cooking rather than relying on the presets, so I cannot speak to the settings in detail as other reviewers have. Overall, the food turned out right. The problem I had with the one I was shipped is the continuous plastic smell. It was cleaned, used a few times, cleaned again, but every time there was a smell of hot plastic. To be somewhat expected since the entire casing is plastic, but not something I enjoy emanating in my kitchen. The door, while definitely closed during cooking, was a bit tough to open which started causing the heated plastic control panel to bow in the spot you place your thumb in order to open the door. The fan, on this model anyway, is loud. I was a bit startled when firing it up for the first time as it reminded me of an airplane engine as it's warming up its rpms. I chalked it up to my never having owned an air fryer before and that it may be normal. I have found out since, that should not have gotten as loud as it did. I'm only removing one star because this is my experience with the particular item I received. Other reviewers have not had these issues so it would not be fair to rate the overall product as bad, just merely a moderately bad experience for me. Final thought: Cleaning the Chefman 10qt is super easy! While the description shows you can place the wire racks in the bottom of the dishwasher, the instructions say not to. I did, of course, and they came out fine, on heavy wash, each and every time. Just be aware that the racks are small, so there is no baking a 9" round cake. Also, I went to the Chefman website looking for accessories to fit and found nothing but links for their various fryers all leading back to Amazon for purchase.

Perfect Size, Love The Three Cooking Racks, A Definite Good Buy!
I just received this Chefman 6 in 1 Air-fryer earlier today. I've cooked a ton of bacon in it earlier and am now dehydrating banana slices and grapes. It's a bit early to have a definitive opinion, but I did want to share some first impressions. THE GOOD: - In other reviews I noted some who observed that the temperature up/down button increments in 10 degree steps. I assume their device was a generation older than mine as mine increments in 5 degrees steps. Nice! - I also noted in other reviews comments that the wire cooking racks are flimsy and that the wire mesh was so sharp it could cut your hand. After cooking bacon, the wire cooking racks had quite a bit of cooked on food product. Briefly soaking the racks in warm soapy water and using a stiff dish washing brush cleaned these up like new. - One or more reviewers mentioned that in spite of the drip pan, drips got past it and to the bottom of the device. I just simultaneously cooked three racks of bacon and not a drip of grease got past the drip tray. - Temp only goes to 400, but there's an option to kick it up to 450 to crisp at the end of your cooking. Nice! - Oven light is nice. THE NOT AS GOOD - The flip light used to tell you to flip fries and such just illuminates, no sound. This needs to be an audible sound. - Venting to back instead of sides. The manual states the air fryer only needs to be 2" away from the wall. I found that at 400 degrees and cooking for 15 minutes that the unit shut down on its own several times. I had to pull the air fryer away from the wall 6" to keep it from shutting down. I assume the auto shut down was because of an overheat condition, but there was no message that indicated this. If my opinion changes, I'll update, but I'd definitely rate this a great buy! UPDATE 07/28/2025: We've used this air fryer now for several weeks. First, I really do like the appearance of this device over a larger stainless air fryer I bought before this one. I really like the technical aspects of this air fryer. I saw on previous versions of this same fryer people complained about the lack of temperature controls because each step up in temperature on prior versions was in 10 degree increments. My device steps up in 5 degree increments. Also, people complained about the obnoxiously loud beeper that sounds when your food is done. This device has an appropriately loud beeper that doesn't both me at all. And though my prior air fryer was of the basket variety and my wife still preferred that format, this one has three heavier wire shelves that work fine. Cleaning is a little more difficult and while I normally hand wash our dishware, so far with a little presoak I've been able to with elbow grease get these clean. The only disappointment I've had so far is with the evenness of the temperature distribution. I wrongly assumed that the fans would more evenly distribute the temperature so flipping food wouldn't be required as much. But this cooks hot on one side more than the other, so you do have to pay attention when cooking and flip at least once through the cooking cycle. And by the way, with three racks I have at least double the space to cook things as I had with the old basket style fryer. If in the future I need to replace this device, I'd definitely consider this one...

Works ok... (10 qt. Model)
I like this as an air fryer, but, it has issues... The cons: 1. Door feels very flimsy, not sure how long it will last with frequent use. Other reviews show it not staying closed after some time. I can see how this could become a problem. 2. I cannot find additional trays or baking racks for it that FIT. I'd love a second solid baking rack. Tin foil and cooking spray it is on the mesh rack instead. I would buy yhem but Chefman is NOT responding to email or phone messages. NO confidence in product support or warranty, not responding to consumer requests. Bad form Chefman! 3. Anything on very top rack will be overcooked no matter what, it is closest to heat source, you are forced to constantly rotate racks of food to ensure any sort of even cooking. 4. Heat circulation in this unit is not great. Learned this the hard way making a bunch of tater tots. The top ones were little tater bricks. 5. Rotating racks with food on them is also a problem because the racks it comes with do not slide in and out easily on all rows. Messy! 6. No off button. If you accidentally touch the screen, it comes on, you cannot turn it off. You can STOP the cooking process, which I suppose is turning it off, but the screen stays lit up for quite a while waiting to be turned on again. I'd like to just turn it off. I guess I could just unplug it to be sure. 7. Use cooking time and temp suggestions on the food package! Not the pre-sets, or you will have overcooked tater tots. Gosh! (IYKYN) The Pros: 1. It is nice to not have to turn my oven on to cook freezer-foods. Flippin sweet! 2. This definitely cuts down some cooking time. 3. Very easy to clean after use. 4. Very quiet while operating. 5. Does not smell after cooking. I've read reviews of other air fryers people needed to buy filters for to keep odors down, and the need to leave oil in them (? Why?) This one just smells like the food I am cooking, same as if the oven were on, maybe a little stronger as it's not as well insulated as an oven, but I expect to smell my food while it's cooking. No lingering odor after, although I suppose if you let food residue build up in it, it will start to stink. 6. Nice, compact unit, I don't mind leaving it out on the counter. 7. I like that it has a light you can turn on to look at/check food without opening it unnecessarily. Easier than in an oven, it's at eye-level! I still have yet to try cooking meat in it with other things. I'm guessing I will have to trial and error the timing of doing meat, potatoes and vegetables. No way they all go in at same time. So far we've only done freezer food items and roasted vegetables, which came out nice, but again needed to be rotated where if I had used my oven, I could just roast away without any moving them around. Three stars, I'm in the middle on this one. Don't love it but don't hate it. I'll use it as long as it lasts.

Great air fryer
It works great, the only thing that you need to remember is that the top shelf will cook much faster than the lower ones. When it tells you to rotate, move the top to the bottom. Otherwise it is great and has saved us a lot of time.

An OK unit with problems
I just got this yesterday. It has a glossy black finish that came scratched out of the box! The shelves are mesh and look square but fit only one way into the oven. Even then it is difficult to get them into position as the ridges they rest on are not pronounced and they fall easily. The display is bright but cannot be turned off. As I will use this infrequently that is a problem. The work around is to unplug the oven or turn off the power strip I have it plugged into. Three complaints I discovered the first hour of ownership! I like the ability to stack items when you cook. The options on the menu are good and seem to be accurate. I tin foiled the bottom drip tray and the first thing I cooked dripped and baked into the foil and I had to replace it after one use. Also the sharp angle of the corners makes lining the bottom difficult as the foil tends to rip in this area. I got it better the second time. My recommendation is to line the bottom before first use which the directions did not state. The instructions said to wash and then cook it without food the first time and I agree. It stunk up the kitchen during the first use. My conclusion is that it works OK, but has issues. That is way I reduced it two stars. I am thankful I have another air fryer. Update: The display will shut-off after about 10 minutes. The instructions are lacking in some details. I added a star back to four.

Versatile Family-Size Air Fryer Oven That Does It All
The 12-Quart Air Fryer Oven from Chefman is a great all-in-one countertop appliance that combines several cooking functions into one unit. With 6 cooking modes—including air fry, rotisserie, bake, roast, reheat, and dehydrate—it’s perfect for anyone who do not want to fill their kitchen with multiple gadgets. The 12-quart capacity is large enough to cook meals for a small family, and the multiple racks make it easy to prepare different foods at the same time. The touchscreen controls are simple to use, and the 12 preset options take the guesswork out of cooking everything from chicken and fries to vegetables and jerky. One of the standout features is the rotisserie function, which allows you to cook whole chickens evenly with a crispy outside and juicy inside. The air fryer also heats up quickly and cooks food faster than a traditional oven while using little to no oil. Cleanup is fairly easy thanks to the dishwasher-safe parts, and the front glass door lets you monitor your food without opening the oven and losing heat. The door is easily removable for cleaning as well. I own 2 air fryers, I have one in the camper and this one in the house. I use it almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day. It is a convenient, multi-purpose appliance that delivers flavorful results while saving time. ⭐ Pros: Large capacity, multiple cooking functions, easy touchscreen controls, rotisserie feature, removable door for cleaning. ⚠️ Cons: Takes up a bit of counter space due to its size

Worth it. Works as Advertised.
I finally took the plunge and got my first air fryer back in November 2025, and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner. After using it consistently for over five months now, I can confidently say it has completely transformed the way I cook at home. What immediately stood out was how quick and efficient it is. Unlike a traditional oven that needs time to preheat and then slowly works through your food, the air fryer gets right to business, cutting down cooking time significantly without sacrificing quality. Whether I’m throwing in bacon, hotdogs, pizza, or sweet potatoes, everything comes out beautifully cooked with a satisfying crisp on the outside. Speaking of sweet potatoes , this was genuinely one of my biggest surprises. In a regular oven, I always felt the need to add oil, butter, or foil to get them right. With the air fryer, I just pop them in as-is and they come out perfectly soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside, every single time. No additions needed. It’s almost effortless. Compared to traditional frying, the difference is night and day. There’s no greasy mess, no lingering oil smell, and I’m using a fraction of the fat I normally would, yet the results taste just as satisfying, if not better. It’s healthier cooking without feeling like you’re compromising on flavor or texture. After five-plus months of regular use, it has held up without a single issue. It’s become one of those appliances I genuinely reach for daily. If you’re on the fence about getting an air fryer, stop hesitating. This is absolutely worth it.
