Excellent Product
The bowl is excellent but that’s what you expect from the Pyrex brand. Hopefully, I’ll be using it for a very long time.

Indispensible kitchen item.
We had a large Pyrex bowl bought years ago that, like the proverbial cat, seemed to have nine lives. Unfortunately, it didn't have a tenth and it expirted after an accidental drop onto the kitchen floor.Memo to self:- stop trying to pick stuff up with wet/greasy hands.Unfortunately, my wife's damaged immune system resulting from chemotherapy means we can't risk her getting a Covid19 infection either directly - or via me! - so we are shielding. As a result, visiting physical stores (or using click and collect) was not possible and an online purchase with home delivery seemed the best option to pursue.Google search turned up up lots of potential suppliers but, in reality, few had the 3L bowl in stock and those that did seemed to require silly money for delivery and/or long delivery lead times.........Pyrex stuff used to be made in Sunderland I seem to recall, so why the dearth of 3L bowls or is Pyrex something else that's gone to China?Anyway, Amazon turnmed up trumps. I found a 3L bowl quite easily. It cost me £9.50 with free postage from anamazon reseller. It arrived after a day or so. It is just as expected.I find the 3L bowl is indispensible generally but I find it most useful when making bread. Its really handy being able to see if the dough has risen when I make a loaf using the usual 500g of flour. A 2L bowl is a bit too small for this and you cant see at a glance what's happening if I use a stainless steel bowl. The bowl should survive a bit of wear and tear as the glass is quite thick and - dropping on floor aside - it should last a lifetime.

Exactly as desribed
I got this as a mixing bowl, and it looks a little smaller than I thought it would (albeit that it is of the volume advertised.) That said, it is exactly as described, of excellent quality, and, being Pyrex, is not going to start chipping and scratching in the dishwasher. The price is great. And it does work as a mixing bowl.

Well, it’s a Pyrex bowl, seems to be top quality.
Yes it’s top quality, my only gripe is it’s too big! But that’s my fault, I was trying to replace mum’s 1950’s big Pyrex bowl that was part of a 1950’s food mixer ( the ones that had a revolving turntable) that had become very stained, turned out the old bowl must have been a 2 Litre bowl!Bought a new 2Litre bowl since!Might be useful for making Apple source, a mountain of chopped Apples reduces to a small amount of source!
