OK..... I have heard that admitting the problem is half the battle.... Hmmmm don't feel any better yet... Oh, sorry, right! The lighter..JUST BECAUSE I buy a LOT of them and then abuse the heck out of them DOESN'T MEAN I HAVE A PROBLEM... if that were.... RIGHT THE LIGHTER... DO YOU THINK BUYING MORE THAN ONE A MONTH IS A PROBLEM?? OK. OK.... I get do distracted.... The lighter? Totally kicks @$$ great low to high adjustment, large fuel capacity, locking open device is solid... Grip and stand r perfect. No surprise hotspots holding it..... It looks simple snd it is i. The best of ways.... And i had a small issue at first....? Support is a 5 star as wellThe first thing I do is get rid of the safety lock.... Psssft... Who do they think they are telling ME.... A LIGHTER JUNKY what is safe or not?!

The media could not be loaded. I had a gas extension connected to my grill which i use as a torch in the past but it is not always comfortable to use the backyard grill due to freezing temperatures in up north. This makes things easy. The refillable culinary torch can be refilled and used to flame the required areas very easily. Overall this is a very good product and I recommend giving it a try.

IThe product is as described, light weight and easy to use and the instructions on the back of the box are very easy to follow. The only problem for me, but that's my fault, because I didn't read the instructions carefully before buying it, is that it doesn't come with the propane little tank which you have to buy separately but it is not expensive. Amazon sells it separately.

This is the third item like this I have had over the years and so far it has been the best of them. Easy to you and control. It is well made

I really really wanted like this torch as it had a wider flame I could use it to heat a wider range of things than the standard torch. But that was about all the goodThe removable base was pointless never held torch upright and possible probable fire hazard if used when flame lock was on. Speaking of which my torch lost a third of the output everytime I had to use the flame lockAnd after about a month the thing would not keep a full fill up

This is a very inexpensive culinary torch & it doesn't have the features of the more pricey torches. There is no flame diffuser that would spread the flame evenly over a wide area. That can be overcome by quickly moving the flame around the surface of the target, so that isn't a really big shortcoming. The flame intensity can be varied, but requires constant tension on the control. Would be nice if that control could be set to a fixed position. The main problem I have with this torch is that the supplied base/stand is worthless. The base should lock onto the bottom of the torch & keep it an upright position for both use & storage & it doesn't. Maybe the one I have is defective, but it doesn't fit the bottom of the torch.

This is the second torch I have ordered, the first did not work after filling with butane. I could see the spark but it wouldn’t light. Received replacement for the first and it doesn’t work either! Would not recommend to anyone, product is defective!

Works great. Well built. Very solid. No problems so far at all. Recommended!
