I have owned this wireless setup for 1 week now. So far, they perform very well. There is not a noticeable loss at either end. If you are in the studio... use a good cord. This will work for most applications. The battery life is plenty. I don’t often play for 6 hours straight or more and they recharge rapidly. Super simple to set up, just press the button for a second on each one after they are plugged in and BAM done. I let the battery run down to see how it performed at low battery... Very well till the last couple of seconds when it crackled out. As with most devices you must unplug the TX and RX when you are done or they will drain

If you are reading reviews to determine if you should buy these: BUY THESE. They are exactly as I had hoped they would be after reading all of the positive reviews. For the price of two decent 20' cords these can get me pretty much anywhere in my house. Most importantly, no more of that friggin' tangled mess getting caught in my feet and constantly having me think about unwinding it in between playing. BLECH! I read a few reviews that were turned off by a loud POP that takes place when you turn the system on AFTER turning on the amp. It is literally a matter of proper sequencing, just TURN ON THE AMP LAST. If you don't, you simply hear a loud POP when you turn the system on. Whatever. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the sound. There is ZERO LAG, and there does not seem to be any distortion introduced into the signal. It comes with the two-headed charging cable and USB plug. New they are lasting at least a few hours, which is as much as I practice in a day. And yet they charge very quickly, so limited down time. I am absolutely sold on wireless guitar systems and am glad I am learning in an era where the technology is this solid and reasonably priced. I will definitely be buying another pair of these for my other guitars and basses.

Most of the elements of the unit operate as anticipated. Seamless pairing between the units, no connectivity issues. Played a 4-hour gig, turning the units off between sets, and only lost 1 light of battery on each unit. No noticeable lag and sound was responsive. However, I did notice a difference in my usual tone. Neck pickup sounded almost like the pickup selector was splitting the neck and bridge. Not as ‘beefy’ as when I use a cable, but still crystal clear. Perhaps it was the venue/sound engineer tweaking my EQ (realized that he was running post fader, so everything he did for the house was impacting my in-ears, therefore also my volume and possibly tone). All in all, I really like the simplicity and effectiveness of the units, at this price, and if nothing else keeping them for rehearsals or practice. May try to set up again when able to actually do a sound check at a venue and EQ my tone to the units.

When I received the SWIFF Wireless I was pleasantly surprised to see it was already fully charged. I pressed the 2 buttons, one on the transmitter and one on the receiver and plugged each into their respective locations. The system worked flawlessly with no latency or alterations to the sound quality. This unit is the very definition of plug and play! I happen to be using mine mainly on an acoustic bass guitar with active Fishman pick-ups, but it also works just as well on my solid body basses. i.e. Fender P, Warwick etc. On a sidenote, another plus is that it comes in a very solid box with dense packing foam shaped to each unit so I will be using that as a protective case for transportation.

I've used the venerable Sennheiser wireless guitar system for years. The sound quality and frequency finder have been great - even to this day, but my only beef with it has been the bulky receiver unit with the fragile antennas, not to mention the bulky transmitter that I'd have to duct tape to my strap (forget about clipping it on). But because of how well the unit performed, I ignored its shortcomings. Plus, with the lockdown, I wasn't playing out at all, so I put it away. But now I'm playing out again and rejoined a band I had played with several years ago. I was going to dust off my Sennheiser when I noticed that our other guitarist was using an Xvive system. Talk about convenience! I asked him about it and he sent me a link to purchase it. But before I bought it, I decided to do a bit of research and I stumbled upon the Swiff Audio WS-50. I liked that it was half the price of the Xvive, but more importantly, it operated in the UHF frequency range! When I was growing up, UHF was pretty crowded with TV channels, but that's no longer the case as almost all those stations have moved to cable. I felt that there was less chance of interference with competing signals. As for price, one could argue that it's cheap. But wireless technology is very mature at this point, so you shouldn't have to pay a lot for it, and its price is no indication of its sound and its build quality. I've already taken my original unit to five club gigs and four rehearsals and it has performed incredibly well. No interference, no static. Perfectly quiet. And the battery life is awesome! As for purchasing a second unit, I bought that one as a backup for when I do solo acoustic gigs, but also for my classic rock band where I play both acoustic and electric. It works great for both kinds of guitars! I totally jazzed by this system! Just a bit of warning: There's another system here called the Swiff WS-70 sold by Kapama Imports. I don't think that unit is from the same manufacturer. The Swiff Audio site here on Amazon doesn't list this unit, so I'd be very careful about purchasing the WS-70. It may very well be a good system, but having used the WS-50, I can attest to its quality.

So far so good! I’ve been walking all over my house into different rooms and am getting great audio quality and there are only a couple of spots where I get signal cut out for an instant here and there. Thats also because there are multiple walls and metal furniture between. So the rule of thumb seems to be line of sight equals awesome, and obstacles are case by case but it’ll go through some. Thats to be expected with anything wireless like this. So far I’m loving not having to worry about tripping over a cable! Also there is no noticeable latency either! The signal is essentially instantaneous! Excited to try this out at a gig soon!

Update 29Apr2026: Note this operates UHF 500-940 MHz however most of the spectrum above 𝟔𝟎𝟖 𝐌𝐇𝐳 is now illegal to use in the United States. So bare that in mind. From the FCC: 𝟔𝟏𝟒-𝟔𝟗𝟖 (Illegal): This "600 MHz band" was repurposed for 5G cellular services. Since July 13, 2020, operating wireless microphones or instruments here is prohibited and can result in significant fines. 𝟔𝟗𝟖-𝟖𝟎𝟔 (Illegal): This "700 MHz band" has been strictly reserved for public safety (police, fire) since 2010. Usage here is entirely banned. 𝟖𝟎𝟔-𝟗𝟒𝟎 (Illegal for Analog): Most of this range is restricted for licensed commercial use. The only common exception is the 𝟗𝟎𝟐-𝟗𝟐𝟖 ISM band, which is used by some modern digital systems but is usually too crowded for high-quality analog audio Update Oct2025: The units I bought in March 2024 have finally started not holding a charge through a 3 hour show. Died during one of our last songs but thankfully it will work while charging. But played at least 60 shows so can’t complain. Been very good all this time. Ordered a new set of the same units, however, the charging cord went from being 32” long to less than 6”! Really? And of course the old charging cord ends do not fit the new units. Also, the tone is significantly darker and muddier and I don’t like it so I’m returning. This went from a previous five star review to a two star. These are no longer professional quality on the cheap in my opinion. Pro tip: if you play strat type guitars and hate how this looks, buy a short 1/4” male to female cable. Plug into the wireless, put wireless in back pocket and plug cable in guitar. Taisusan makes a good small cable. Previous review of 5 stars: I play in a very active cover band that gigs every weekend. I’ve used this wireless for 8 months in every type of venue with all kinds of RF in the air. I’ve not lost signal or had interference that wasn’t managed, I like the tone, works with every guitar, holds charge through every show most being 3+ hours. I have a Shure wireless guitar system but do not like bringing a rack just for that or having to fiddle with two body packs (I also use a Shure IEM). So on a whim and review on YouTube I bought this. Love the fact it is not 2.4 or 5.8 as those are now very busy and with faster speeds, distance shortens. I’ve only changed the channel at one show and we’ve played 30 shows in 8 months. We have 5 in the band all with separate wireless IEM’s, two wireless guitars and our mixer is wireless not to mention five phones on stage somewhere. Never an issue and our sound engineer never knows I’m wireless or on a wire… they tweak the eq at various venues anyway so it really doesn’t matter. Only negative is I don’t care for the look on a Strat as it looks a little odd and there is a bright green light, but that’s minor. I’ve tried other cheap options and were terrible. Returned all but this one. This is well worth the price but realize it heavily depends on your environment, RF around you and how far you want to be away from your home base unit. It is not generally this unit’s fault if you have interference so always have an alternative plan. A $50 unit will not adjust to all environments like a $500 unit. Bring a RF scanner to shows if really concerned.

I have 2 of these units and both have given me issues. I purchased both in 2022, so I have a good frame of reference. At first they work really well with no issues, but over time, you slowly see the problems. With my first unit, the on/off button on the transmitter stops clicking which means I can't turn the unit on even with full charge. I've barely used that 2 or 3 times in the 3 years since purchasing it and once for a live performance. It seemed to have issues and ran out of charge quickly. The second unit works has no issues with the buttons, but works intermittently. There's no indication when it might stop transmitting. Both transmitter and receiver are at full charge, they connect on different channels too, but there is no input in my audio interface. I thought it might be an issue with my guitar or the audio interface, but everything works fine with a guitar cable. After a few weeks, the unit will work like normal once again, until a few months later, it will mysteriously not work again. It's frustrating as I have to keep fiddling with the units while others wait for the music to start. Finally, I've decided to get rid of both units and purchase something new. This was well recommended by Scott Uhl from a YouTube video, but didn't expect so many issues. The 2 stars are for when the unit works well, then it seems like you've got the best product in the world. Great sound, no latency and runs out after 3 to 4 hours of constant use. Unfortunately, there is no way to repair this or fix its issues.
