Great tool for maintaining cue tip shape.
Great tool for maintaining cue tip shape. Inexpensive and easy to use. This is the nickel profile tool. It also comes in a dime profile if you prefer a smaller tip shape.

June 20 UPDATE: Guys @ pool hall liked it. May 26 update: it from Russian Federation. But it's a good shaper.
June 20 UPDATE: took it with me to the hall for minor shaping. The guys tried it & they easily re-shaped their cue tips. See 2 new pix.Buy it. Made in the USA ? I don't think so. But it's still a good shaper. Just that they should erase that "Made in USA" stamp on it.I re shaped my tips right away. Does the job.Lay it down on the floor。I used a rag tounder it level it. Squeezed it between my feet, placed my cue tip on it. Then, rolled my cue between my hands. Constantly stopping to check its shape. Don't rush. Take your time. I used it on 3 cue sticks and it still bites. Will buy the Williard Dime shaper.too,Used it to shape my Triangle tip on my Cuetec cue. Here are the pix.First , I cut off the old tip. Sanded the base of the Triangle tip. Wipe clean its ferrule tip with Acetone. Glued it on with Loktite. Krazy glue will also work well. Used rolled-up wax paper to center the new tip. After drying, used Williard shaper. Then , finishing with sand paper. Apply chalk and you're ready to shoot. btw, I'm not a pro tip guy. I just learned how to install tips from youtube vids. You can do it too.

Willard Cue Tip Shaper - Pros Nickel Radius
Very simple to use have used on mid- heavy weight cue tip and extra hard bakelight tip worked for both.Use in palm or put on floor for more serious grinding but go slow and check often. Nickel cut out works weii in determining shape of cue tip.

Easy to use cue sharpener
This cue shaper is easy to use, and allows you to easily achieve the desired cue shape. I was a first time user of this type of sharperner and found it extremely easy and accurate. It takes a bit of time and effort to shape a new cue tip, but the results are worth it. I use a 13mm tip and I prefer a nickel radius on my cue tip as opposed to a dime radius. There is a dime radius available for those that prefer it. Nice accessory to keep in your cue case or your key ring.
