Wonderful sounds and easy on the fingers

They were factory on my Yamaha AC3R, the sound was great, but heavy 12/53 's. I put on 11/52 custom lights, feels good and sounds great. Tunes and takes a bending better than most, it's a easy choice and the price is right.

Absolutely the best strings available for an acoustic guitar. They sound just as good as any other strings available, the difference is these retain that high quality sounds for much longer than the competition.

Sounds great and lasts

These strings make a world of difference when it comes to tone. Make your cheao acoustic sound great but theres one flaw. I was hoping they would be durable but the g string snapped in one day and i was playing them easy, i replaced it and the other snapped in about a week, i put a pair on my friends guitar and that g string also snapped very fast. All the other strings are doing fine though. I think the ernie ball strings are way more durable if you dont want your strings to snap crackle and pop

I’m coming up on 40 years of playing guitar. Most of that was professional. I was a diehard D’Addario guy for the first 25-30 years. When I first saw Elixirs I saw the price and wondered who the $@&% is gonna spend that much money on a set of strings?!??!? Well, I eventually realized (it took a while) that these strings are actually cheaper than regular strings, because they last an eternity. To my ears, they don’t quite have the “zing” of brand new strings. Instead, they sound like 3 day old strings, for several months. I’m OK with that compromise, and that’s coming from someone who LOVES the zing! So, long story short, I’m an Elixir convert. I recently did a self test and bought a regular set of strings, and while I loved them the first couple days, i was soon reminded how quickly they become dull and lifeless.

Been playing these for a few months now and they're holding up well. The phosphor bronze gives a warm, balanced tone that suits a range of styles. The coating is the main reason I keep coming back to Elixir as it keeps them sounding fresh well past when uncoated strings would start to go dull. Tuning stability is solid too. Good all-round string for acoustic players who want longevity without sacrificing too much tone.

Title really says all! The NANOWEB coating works wonders for not obliterating my poor fingertips while playing and keeps my guitar's hearty, deep tone singing out. I would 100% recommend these strings for beginners, intermediate, or even advanced players. I find personally that they aren't so soft that your calluses will slowly disappear, but rather just maintains your fingers as is, while you continue to play. Sliding is super easy with these strings, once again due to the coating that Elixir puts on these things, and bends work just as well. As for longevity, one set of these strings lasted me exactly 1 year of usage (Got them on christmas day 2022, one string snapped christmas day 2023) For a 3 pack, I simply just grabbed the box, and restrung a new set. I would consider that a worthy investment, and was not disappointed by their durability whatsoever. All in all, super great strings, could not recommend more!
