HP OfficeJet 250 Portable Printer with Wireless and Mobile Printing (CZ992A) (Renewed)

I was initially disappointed when I saw that the printer arrived with no battery, and the wrong power cord. There was also no ink. The listing photos indicated these would be included, and the description said all relevant items would be included. Everything was nicely packaged, and there was a note saying to reach out with any issues, so I did. I received a quick response from Alex at 88 Printers, and they promptly reimbursed me for the missing items. The machine itself, works nicely. Installation was simple and wireless. There were very few blemishes on the finish and I'm very pleased with its performance. This is definitely a huge savings over the cost of a new one. However, the cost of replacing the missing items would have eaten away at the savings had they not reimbursed me. Overall, I give them 5 stars and would recommend them because of the excellent customer service. I can't say anything about battery life yet, as I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but the print, scan and copy functions all work great. This is a great addition to my mobile office.

This printer is small but mighty. Easy set up, light weight. Prints documents, makes copies and scans quickly. It is the perfect printer to complete a mobile office set up. Works with smart phones, tablets and computers. Check out the cases for protection.

UPDATE: The battery is now faulty so I'll need to get that taken care of as well. I love it BUT I wasn't looking closely enough. There is NO PAPER HOLDER TRAY to hold the paper AFTER it prints out. SO, if it's sitting on a table that has lots of space, no problem. If it's sitting on a small fireplace that's here in my office that's literally the same width as the printer, while aesthetically it looks awesome, if you print something, it will be on the floor if you're not sitting there to grab each piece. Otherwise, it's a great little printer! It's also fast too!

Great printer! It was refurbished but looked brand new! The test page alignment was perfect and easily connected wireless! My puppy jumped on my other 250 and broke the display. ;) Outstanding replacement for $200 less! Thank you!

I suppose that this is not specifically a review trashing Amazon Renewed, but is for whoever the contractor is that's called Renew4Me. I was sent this printer that, out of the box, gave me a message during setup that stated "Battery is defective, replace battery". I then put in the perfectly good battery from my old HP OfficeJet. Hmm. Turns out I then got the same message, "Battery is defective, replace battery". I thought well, I never use the battery anyway, so I will not return it just for that and kept the machine. On day 28, the printer gave me a new message, "The cartridge is damaged, replace cartridge''. After a full day of trying to install new cartridges, unsuccessfully, I gave up and started the return process. This process was very easy and today I received a full refund for the printer. Thank you Amazon Renewed for that. Here is my biggest problem: As I was removing the shipping label in order to send the printer back with the new shipping label affixed, Lo and Behold, I see a very prominent bright yellow label that states "Damaged and Defective"! Whoever these guys are, they placed the original shipping label directly over the bright yellow tag, so it would not be seen by the buyer (Me). Very fraudulent and underhanded in my opinion. I purchased another HP OfficeJet printer from Amazon Renewed and It was a beautiful printer in perfect condition, and has worked flawlessly. I have and will buy other renewed products from Amazon.

Love this portable, small printer! It did take a few tries to get the Wifi and the paper size to work as it kept telling me it didn't recognize the paper size every time I turned it on. However, after I updated the printer, everything has worked fine since. There is every reason to buy this printer. Portable, small and can fit on any desk, it can scan, and I can print from my laptop or phone. Would recommend this printer!

This printer/scanner/copier works well...once you get it installed on your devices. I followed the HP instructions requiring installation of software on each device, in my case an iMac, Macbook Pro, and iPad. All three locked up during installation and required forced shutdowns and restarts. Finally, I deleted the installation files and simply went to Apple>Settings>Printer and added the printer. Voila! It works. Not sure why the HP way didn't work, but it was frustratingly unnecessary. UPDATE #1 (April 2025): I bought a new MacBook Air with Sequoia macOS and this device will not scan. After hours in the phone with HP and Apple, no one cares and offered a solution. I still don't know if it is an HP driver or macOS issue. Regardless, if you have a newer MAC, you will not be able to scan. UPDATE #2 (July 2025): I have confirmed that the HP Easy Scan software is the culprit. HP has not released an update that will work with macOS Sequoia. It has been nearly a year since Sequoia’s release, so I don’t know why HP has not issued an update. Given that they are still selling this printer/scanner, they owe users an update.

This HP 3 In 1 Printer is my first Printer. It is compact, easy to set up, the wireless works great, the print quality is superb, the ink life is long lasting, and the bluetooth works perfectly too! Great value for the money! Thank you!
