A better product than expected
Worked as it should have with little effort. Will be hard to find them I. This condition and this price. Very happy.

Poor performance
The product arrived in s timely manner - that's good! I plug it into my network (desktop & printer); for two days everything worked as it has been designed to do. On Day Three - trouble began: could not access the hd at all. I unplug, waited 30 minutes, then reconnected! All worked for about 6 hrs; then, trouble began again! Could not access any files on the airport hd. Seemed to be a bit warm upon close examination. Waited two days then reconnected the airport HD; all worked for about 3 hours; then trouble began! SAME problems - could not connect, hard drive heated up! BOTTOM LINE - piece of JUNK! I wasted almost $300 on a piece of crap!

My backups weren't safe
All was good for about six months. Little did I know until I needed a complete backup that...there were no backups. The wi-fi router still worked, but the backup part had gone belly up. When I used Time Machine to look for the most recent folder, alas, there were none! I agree with above review, a crap product that's not there when you need it.

Exactly As Advertised!
When my Time Capsule died I was sad to see they were no longer being made. As we are both currently working from home we needed a quick solution and something we knew would work with our current network and laptop configuration. Olde Time Mac were fast at replying to my questions and they shipped the product out minutes after my order!!! The Time Capsule was as expected - new package and in perfect shape. It works perfectly and will hopefully get us through another 5 years! Fast and reliable network and backups is what we needed this for and it delivers.
