WEN 94475 7.5-Amp 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder with Reversible Handle, Three Grinding Discs, and Carrying Case, Black,orange

I ordered this thing because I had a 12 year old discount store grinder and it was worn out. Thought I would get something to see through the drought of no angle grinder. I strip the bark off of tree branches amd build furniture with them. Once again I am impressed with the quality of a tool verses price. This thing is a possessed beast at stripping bark, clothes, fingers and anything else that gets in the way. The motor which Wen shines in every product, has done it without hesitation at creating a reliable quality tool that can compete with top name products, and come out on top in most cases. I have a Wen, hand planer, drill press, and belt sander which all are being used relentlessly and has surpassed all my expectations. What I have gotten from Wen so far has been more than my money's worth and its really making me look and rethink my tool budget spending a bit. These tools are heavy duty and does not.have a ton of bells and whistles but the motors and reliability is something to see.first hand.

I bought this angle grinder for some home improvement projects. I needed something that could handle cutting and grinding various metals without breaking the bank, and this one seemed to fit the bill. It's been working well so far; it can definitely cut through metal like a hot knife through butter. The motor is pretty powerful too, which makes it easy to use even on tougher materials. I managed to modify my old metal table with ease using this grinder (though I did burn a hole in my pants leg during the process - gotta watch out for those sparks!). Overall, I'd say it's a good tool for anyone who needs something reliable and affordable for DIY projects or even professional use. This angle grinder comes with three grinding wheels and a carrying case, which is nice. The reversible handle is useful too; sometimes you need to change the way you're holding it depending on what you're working on. It's also fairly lightweight compared to some other grinders I've used, so that's a plus. I don't have much else to say about it really. It does its job well and I haven't had any problems with it yet.

Very good grinder....has lots of power so doesn't bog down.. Comfortable in hand..The only complaint I would have is the on/off switch....if you don't slide the button just right it doesn't catch and it slides back into the off position..a paddle switch would make this grinder perfect.

So I see on the reviews that with some people this is either a hit-or-miss item I've had mine for little over a year now. I am a blacksmith/welder i am using angle grinder about 5 hours every day. I don't take it easy on it either if it's not cutting fast enough I push harder. ive Done alot of thick cuts with this angle grinder from cutting 8" wide by half inch thick H beams 1" thick plate. 2" thick square bar. And one and a 1/2 to 2 and a 1/2 inch round bar. I am Florida to angle grinders. If anyone doesn't get that joke I'm where angle grinders go to die. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is on a budget doesn't have enough money to buy like a good one like a Milwaukee or even a matbo. But like I said in the beginning it seems like a hit-or-miss item you could get a really good one like I was blessed with or you can get a lemon in it only last 2 uses. its better than a wallmart special or a harborfrieght anyday. Update So it finally died the other day well not fully dead. It seems the gear inside finally wore down it still turns on and spins but it stop spinning when preassure is aplied. Also its now half the price of when i bough mine.. so def a good buy.

I bought this grinder to do basic maintenance and cleanup around our apartment building. Particularly, we have a pile of old scrap pipes, mostly cracked, pierced, or otherwise damaged, that have been cut out during repairs or renovations. Many are still connected together in T, Z, and even H shapes, too large and heavy to be put out for the City trash collection. But if they're sliced apart into smaller, separate lengths of straight pipe, it's no problem. So, I armed myself with this grinder and a few cutting wheels (purchased elsewhere) and gave myself a project. It took a few tries and some careful positioning to get the wheel attached so that it wasn't off-center (won't spin correctly, rubs against the guard), or loose/wobbly (won't spin at all), or otherwise seated improperly — the arbor mounting is a bit fiddly. The rotation-lock button for the spindle is also a little tricky, you have to press it just so or it doesn't actually do anything. Minor issues to be expected from an under-$50 tool, and nothing that impacts it performance. Just irritations. Once I sorted all that out, the grinder was a breeze to use. It slides through copper pipe like it's slicing bread, no exaggeration. And even 50-year-old, thick-walled iron drain pipe is no real challenge for it. Initially I was using it two-handed, as usual, but after a few minutes I grew confident enough in its power and stability that I switched to one-handed, using the other hand to hold the loose pipe, which was a real time-saver. The grinder has that much power, and requires so little manual pressure behind it, that it's just as effective with one hand as it is with two.
