Awesome product!
This thrower works flawlessly. I set up at the range waiting for my guests, so I let others at the range use it. It made a hit. Everyone loved it. When my guests finally arrived I knew that everything was going to be good, being that it was already tested by the other shooters. So far I've been to the range twice and each time I let others use it too, so we've shot at least 600 or more clays with only a few glitches mostly do to defective clays. The only problem I had was when I assembled it. I notices the plastic part at the front of the thrower had a couple of broken pop rivets in it, so I just replaced them with new ones. That was really the only problem I had. I improved on the design by replacing one of the bolts in the handle base with a lynch pin, which makes it real easy to fold handle down, so it fits very nicely into my Camry trunk. The clay holder just pulls off easily as well. Most throwers have to be transported in a van or truck bed, not this one.

Worked well the first time
Although the instructions were a little weak, this was easy to put together. When I took it to the range it worked well the first time and there were no errors or broken clays all day. I'm looking forward to more trips to the range. My order was shipped as promised and arrived at the Post Office as Promised. But the USPS refused to deliver it and I had to pick it up myself.

Clay shooting fun!
Canโt express that this is being used and living it. Building it was a bit tricky but we got it.

Chinese Made Junk
Cons: Poor design, poor quality, no quality control, poor assembly instructions, no user guide/manual. I read all of the mixed reviews on Do-All but decided to take the risk since it was less expensive than Champion, the closest competitor. It also has an integrated wobbler/oscillator option which is two separate components for Champion. I figured that fewer separate components equates to less weight, less bulk, and fewer points of failure. After spending 2 hours assembling everything with very poor instructions, I took it out for a test. Immediately, I discovered the plunger was crushing the clays. Since, it doesn't come with any kind of manual or troubleshooting guide, I spent a couple of more hours attempting to resolve the issue. Finally, I went online and found a troubleshooting guide that said to cut the plunger spring down to reduce the pressure. It seems ridiculous that this is their method of adjustment instead of simply designing some sort of simple slide adjustment for the plunger block. Anyway, I followed the instructions and cut the spring down. This seemed to resolve the crushing issue. I went to run another test and found that now, it was firing continuously. Again, I went online and found instructions to adjust the limit switch. I attempted to do so and found that the adjustments didn't make a difference. I tested the limit switch with my Ohm meter and found that it was defective after less than 20 cycles. This doesn't make me feel very confident that a Chinese replacement switch will last any longer. I also noticed that the stacker rods slide up on the base pins due to vibrations while operating. It seems like it would've been very easy for Do-All to design a better way to attach them so that they stay in place. I called Do-All customer service and received a call back about an hour later. They seemed rather clueless and could only offer trial and error troubleshooting. After already wasting a day and a half, I was not too inclined to continue performing their testing, troubleshooting, and quality control. Do-All has been in business for 10 years and they still have the same issues that customers have been complaining about for years on the online forums. I guess the old saying is true - you get what you pay for. Update: I called Do-All back to order a replacement limit switch. They were not willing to expedite the shipment and their standard shipping is 5-7 days. So, although Amazon delivered for free in 2 days per my prime membership, Do-All was unwilling to expedite a replacement part after I put forth all the time and effort to troubleshoot and identify the problem for them. Furthermore, I mentioned the issue with the stacker rods sliding up and their solution was to wrap the base pins with electrical tape. I couldn't help but laugh.

bought in summer 2014
well, ts been about a decade since i bought it. still works great. only major part i had to replace was the main spring. the knob broke off after about 7 years. been using a impact wrench to tighten and loosen the spring. Have some wing nuts on the handle so i can remove it during storage and transportation. I been greasing the chain as well. might be time to swap out the spring that loads the clays. when this one kicks the bucket, ill probably get one that throws doubles or even triples.

I had to send the Raven back worked on it for 2 days and I couldn't adjust it properly, the feeder didn't work jaming the clays and breaking them and it kept breaking clays when thrown

Tweaks & Tips
All around, it's a good affordable machine. No printed instructions, but an assembly DVD enclosed as well as Youtube video are clear enough. Assembly is straight forward. I had one major and several minor issues: 1) Out of the box and after assembly, when the arm went to throw, the dome of the clay would scrape the underside of the top of the housing, jamming against the side brush holder and thereby shattering the pigeon before it even launched. And if you are trying to diagnose the issue with clays shattering on launch, it can be very frustrating because you can't get close enough to view it without putting yourself in a shower of shattered clays. Once I diagnosed the issue, I just grabbed the launch arm and bent it down slightly. It's aluminum, so don't go get all "Hulk" like and inadvertently snap it off. Just a gentle pressure to bend it down about 1/4". That opened up the clearance to the top and allowed the clays to be thrown. 2) Once I got the clays to launch however, the clays were banking to the left and going "dome on" to the shooter. By sheer luck, I adding the slightest bit of twist to the launch arm and had the clays staying level during their arc of loft and fall. 3) The Allen head screws on C shaped bracket on top of clay feed tower habitually loosen. Had to Loc-tite the threads. 4) The clay feed tower rods keep climbing the tapered stud mounts (they look like post type battery terminals) on top of the housing. The tower rods are slip on tolerance fit and vibrating loose. Haven't finalized a solution, but probably going to drill the tubes and posts and cotter pin (if you do this, make sure the cotter pin head or legs are out of the path of the clays dropping). 5) Adding the optional wobbler require the removal and non-usage of the wheels and handle. Really?? With a little cutting of the wheel bar, fabrication and welding you can add the wheels and handle back on, but compatibility with original manufacturer options should have been thought of and allowed for from, well; the original manufacturer! Tips: a) Get a red coated 'D' handle 5/16" tractor hitch pin to replace the safety pin (available at Tractor Supply, Lowes, Home Depot, etc). The factory one is natural metal and blends in with the rest of the bolts. Next thing you know after reloading, the safety pin is jammed in the machine because you forgot to remove it and now the throwing arm is wedged up against it. And you have to loosen the motor and gearing to get the throwing arm loosened so you can remove the pin. The big red handle will stick out like a sore thumb and if you miss that... Get glasses. b) Order the optional wobbler from the get go. By the end of the first 50 clays you know exactly where the trajectory of the clays will be. And the challenge is gone. Now someone has to walk to the machine, put the safety pin in, adjust the machine for a different path & angle, hope you remember to pull the safety pin (see above) go back to the firing line... Yea, nope. Avoid the extra shipping charge and order the wobbler and thrower all at once. c) When the feed stack is down to the last two clays, its stops feeding. I've read others reviews that you have to reload the tower, then flip the switch to "release", to fire the bottom clay, then switch back to "on" to get it to feed the stack automatically again. I've got a simpler way around that. I've taken to putting 3 white domes on top of the stack of 45 orange domes and then two more orange domes on top of the white. When you're banging away at and dusting oranges, and then a white dome launches, you know it's time for a reload without having to load and reset the machine. d) Order an extra one or two foot pedals, and get a three outlet tap for the end of an extension cord or I had a green 25' three outlet "holiday lights" extension cord from WalMart. This way you don't have to move the pedal from shooter to shooter. I gave it four stars because despite all the initial tweaking and let down about losing the wheels by adding the wobbler; once it was set up, it really does launch reliably, and its affordable.

Great product from Do-All
Just what I wanted for sporting clays. Easy to assemble. Throws a great bird. Simple to use and safe. Make sure to have a good battery to operate this thrower, it will drain it down after an afternoon of use. I have a deep cycle marine battery that I use.

Great product imo!!
This product exceed all of my expectations! It took me a long time to set it up because I thought it would not be that great but... Once used I regret not doing it sooner. I would recommend this to anyone.

Lots of work required to make this thing work
I bought this product in conjunction with the wobbler. The wiring on the wobbler looked like it was sheared right off at the point where they go through the frame . As a result of this when turned on the gear went all the way around twisting the limit switch arms the wrong way. My buddy used to repair electronics and was able to not only fix the wiring but recognize that it was inferior and needed to be replaced. We upgraded that and then used plastic wire harnessing to protect them. The thrower itself needed so many fine tune adjustments that we wasted close to 100 birds before getting them out without breaking. Had I not watched so many videos when trying to choose a thrower, I would not have seen all the adjustment videos and would have had to send this entire purchase back. Its a shame that after spending $900 + we had to fix and re engineer the thing in order for it to work like it is supposed to. It seems that customer support here is at a minimum. There is very little instruction that comes with this purchase.
