It is not even close to 13" deep, its 8" on the inside, maybe 8.5" if you measure the outside. 5" is a considerable difference. I had two boxes of threads that are 3" tall each to put in this bag = 6" depth needed. 8" - 6" only leaves me 2" for anything else. I bought it because I thought it was 13" deep - 6" = 7" left for other things. This bag is not the size advertised at all! There are plenty of craft totes that are 8-9" deep that don't cost nearly as much as this one. Overpriced for what it is and false advertising on listing.
