Perfect ecodiesel catch can less than$100. Dipstick a plus no need to make a mess to check level
First off no check engine codes. I added a baffle in middle (1-1/4" tubular waste tailpiece 3-1/2" long sliced in half drilled and screwed in) . It didn't make sense to come in and go out 1 inch away. Then I bought M16-1.5 ×10AN flare adapters and 10AN 180° push lock fittings. I made a bracket out of 1/8" × 1" flat stock ( put in vise and bend ) mounted to existing bracket. Purchased 2' of 5/8" heater hose and a 2' piece of 5/8" with a formed elbow on one end. Less than $100 better than a kit that costs $200

Definitely Works
My Old corolla had a lot of blow by so I decided to install one of these before I when on vacation and drove down to Florida from Virginia. Around 1,000 miles highway and about 400 miles city. I wasn’t expecting much when I checked the dip stick on the container so I decided to open it up and I poured it into a plastic bag so could look at it better and yeah it works only thing I didn’t like was the plastic vacuum hose is wayyyy so thin and will collapse under vacuum so a quick run up to the store and got some heavy duty rubber fuel lines and boom no collapsed vacuum lines so for money it’s worth it

Here's what you get in the box
Other reviewers say that it works, so here's what I found in the box.The catch can comes with 6 very light aluminum ports to screw into the unit. The aluminum ports are very light-weight. I thought they were plastic. They have different diameters to fit the sizes of the hoses that you'll need to connect at the PCV valve and back to the intake. There were 2 each of these diameters: 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm. In inches, those are 25/64", 11/32", and 19/32".There is also a filter to put on the top of the catch can, if you want to go with the breather option.Getting different size ports was helpful with my 2002 Toyota Echo. The hose from the PCV needed to be 3/8", and the port at the intake needed a 3/4" diameter hose. The PCV hose in my car gets larger from one end to the other. I would definitely get new hoses to replace the one that comes in the box. It does not seem like it would be heat resistant. The hose clamps that come with the catch can are too small to be used even with the smallest port that attaches to the can. You will need to buy hose clamps also. All in all, I spent another $12 on hoses and clamps. There was some trial and error with the clamps and hoses. The ports are in mm, but the hoses that I found in auto parts stores were in quarter-, eighth-, and half-inches.The bracket has 2-4 mm holes to use to attach the unit somewhere under the hood. I found a 5 mm threaded hole near my battery, so I bored out the bracket to 5 mm, and all was good. The instructions in the box are not helpful. I did not need any auto knowledge to install this, however. Videos online are sufficient tutorials.Update on how it's doing in my car: After the first 625 miles of use, I collected 2 tablespoons of oil, gas, and water in the catch can. I needed to add 16 oz of oil, so I'm not sure where the oil is going right now. Still searching. My car has 308k miles on it. I'm not too worried about burning roughly one quart per 1000 miles, although I prefer that it not get cycled back into the engine.

Instant "Check Engine Light"!
I love the concept of a catch can with a dip-stick, and this unit does collect the oil as advertised. I ran it all summer, and by the end of September it was full. The problem I had, it caused the "Check Engine Light" to stay on. With the light on, the remote starter won't operate. I wouldn't care, except it's my wife's vehicle and she wants her remote start (especially in winter). When I removed it, the light went out and the vehicle starts via remote! I guess it doesn't allow enough air-flow for turbocharged vehicles? I'll have to look for another unit that allows more CFM, cause' the compressor, intercooler and charge air piping is getting all coked up. I can only imagine what it's doing to the DPF??? 2016 Grand Cherokee Diesel

Decent can after adding better hose lines
Ease of install would be 5 stars if bolting on the bracket (top part of can has a "c" bracket with two bolt holes) wasn't a mission impossible. After several attempts only the lower bolt of two was installed. On the material side it's pretty decent for the price except for the hoses included. Why even include them if they are practically useless...that right there just ticks me off!!

Great catch can. Horrible Hoses and Mounting Hardware.
Great catch can other then the horrible pcv hose it comes with and the bracket to install it. You will want to buy some pcv hose from a auto parts store that’s thicker, the hoses that come are garbage and flatten when the engine is started. The bracket well.. it’s just not ideal in anyone’s engine bay. But I have the tools to make a bracket so I was okay without it. Other then that it’s great catch can has done great for my 02 Grand Marquis.

Use the parts on your vehicle.
There's no actual explanation for the part. Like does it have to be used with the filter or should it be installed lower than the original port so the oil can flow easier or does it even matter. That said it was designed excellent and I installed it on a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.0l. I drove 1800 miles and checked the bowl, sure enough it was working fine. I could not use the filter and left the plug that was preinstalled in, since it popped up the check engine light. The light stayed on after I removed the filter but I removed the negative battery cable for 10sec. Put it back together and not a problem yet. I had to cut the blow by tube and reuse the original plug in with seal and install my own fuel line and just threw the tubing it came with in parts bin. Use 3/8 tubing. Also the filter has a removable mounting arm on it already. I removed it and took a metal file and smoothed down the mounting body so I could turn the mounting bar upside down and use it to screw to the truck. No other mount needed! It's so easy, just do it, it makes since especially after you see how much oil you've eliminated.

All Cars need this.
I looked into these and thought Well it makes sense. No crank cade fumes fowling your intake system. So I made one. Nice job but not as pretty as this one. I would describe it as If you had a bad fuel and couldnt breath threw your nose. And now with a catch can its like the flew is gone and and long deep breath threw booth noostrles. The flew is gone. Try this I swear by it. I put this on my 1965 Mustang 289. She loves it.

10/10
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Honestly it works just as good as the 250$ ones, but you have to do your research and just get the proper hose lines and fittings. After the can and the additional parts it costed me 70$ so definitely a budget breaker compared to 250$. No problems easy install. Most hard part was mounting it but buy and L bracket and your set. 10/10 came fast installed in a Veloster turbo 13

Good quality
Haven't installed yet. Looks like good quality. I was expecting cheap clear lines with it, based on some reviews, it came with decent black ones. Will update ones installed.
