The best thing about this light is, it is rechargeable. The charge holds pretty well before giving up. Sorry, I don't know the operating time or recharge time but that is why I had 2; if one died, I would grab the other throw this one on the charger. Also has an LED array for charging/operating status. Very compact, and super bright. I love how you can use it as a flashlight or floodlight. I use both. Led top light brighter than expected. Red sides swivel is great versatility. Strong magnet on bottom. Belt clip a plus. Box says 1200mah battery with 2.5-3hrs work time. My measurements were 1014mah, 1042mah, 961mah. Work time 2hrs 37min, and 2hrs 32min. Charging time took 1hr 40 minutes first time, 1hr 19min second time. Hook on top feels delicate. Flashlight shuts off when battery low, doesn't dim. The last green led blinks before shuts off.
