It's a bit on the lightweight side and the leather is pretty light weight. Kindle seems to fit well in it. I have an issue with the picture customization, though. I used a very high quality, high pixel picture and was very disappointed to see that the transfer was not very sharp and the texture of the case surface negatively affected the picture quality as well- it's too heavily textured to present a decent looking picture surface- needs a smooth leather surface. My husband asked me when he first saw it if I knew it was going to look so bad. Add to this, I was charged full price for it, not the listed 29.99. I would never have paid almost $60 for this case (with the shipping charges)for the quality I got. My advice is that make *sure* you get the sale price as it is not a $55 case (I have contested that) and be aware the picture quality is not going to be as good as it looks on the screen when you make the order, use a pic that the heavy texture will not adversely affect (or at least affect too much). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're ordering the "Create Your Own," you should know... *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2014* This is a nice case. Slim,light,no frills. I would have liked it to have an interior pocket, but that's no big deal.BUT - If you pay to have it customized, be aware that your picture will be applied to a textured surface. If you're uploading a picture of your pet alligator, it will look amazing. If it's your boyfriend, you may think it looks a bit off.
