Great product for repackaging motorcycle exhaust baffles, high temp of 2400 makes it great, ceramic dense material makes a deep tone.

Used it to replace insulation above the firebrick in a wood stove and the initial fire up sent a volley of ashes up the stovepipe. seems fine now. Not sure if exposure to flame is recommended.

Item arrived a day earlier than expected. Wood stove needed this part replaced;which should be looked at each year for need to replace to maintain optimum working order of stove. Easy to install and fit perfectly. Great product for keeping firebox working the way is should for safety and maintaining heat production.
