Or other beneficial insects?** A: It definitely attracts and kills bees. Do not use on a fruit tree that is in bloom. I killed about 40 bees and only 1 fly after hanging it for an hour. I expected the sticks to be much longer—closer to something you could use as a peg—so the size was a bit of a surprise. I also hadn’t used this type of sticky trap before, so I wasn’t expecting much going in. I picked these up mainly to deal with whiteflies and other small bugs around my garden. After putting them out, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well they’re working. I’m already seeing small insects collecting on them, which confirms they’re doing their job.
